Hi I'm Sandy I would try to spread out the caloric intake over the entire day. I usually at least six times a day. This seems to work and give me the energy boost I need to go all day long. I use fruits for sugar and eat lean protien, along with lots of veggies.

I was feeling the same and then I spoke to a friend who explained to me that we need to take the correct nutrient. The balance of our body with exercise is very important. It made a lot of difference for me as I stoped over eating thinking that I need calories.

i'm doing 25 minutes of cardio at least 4x a week. upper body, lower body and abs 2-3x a week. I do it first thing in the morning, or it won't get done. the cardio is a low impact dvd and the rest of it is on the same dvd. i admit my water intake isn't what it should be, but it's way better than it's ever been. i'm finding myself wanting to go to bed early, sleep in late and needing naps! it's just ridiculous.

The first questions that come to mind: What does your workout look like? (how often, what are you doing? how long?) Are you drinking enough water?
Those first several weeks of working out is very draining. Your body is adjusting to the new routine. Yes, this sounds normal. Give yourself another week and see if you don't see an improvement.

| Today is my 2 week anniversary on Spark. I started my diet 1 week before I found this site. Before I came on here, I didn't even take in enough calories per day. But I could go from 8am-midnight. Now I'm keeping track and taking in enough calories and working out - I'm exhausted ALL THE TIME! My friend told me that I would start having more energy. But I don't. Is this normal at the beginning?
