If you are looking for a Kid food tracker or a fun kids exercise site here are 2 for you:
www.funtasticfoodtracker.com
www.deniseaustin.com/fitkids Denise Austin has a web site and workout videos just for kids. There is a parent section, kids section and teen section.

Do you go to church? Sometimes you could see if there is anyone in your church that would be a "big brother" as well.

I think you yourself can also do a lot of activities with him. Go play in the park, swim at the local pool, roller blade, take a bike ride, see what you can find hiking in the woods, kick a soccor ball around, basketball.
Is he interested in any team sport? See if there is something that you can sign him up for to do.

Big Brothers is great! My hubby used to do that in college and 15 years later his 'little brothers' still keep in touch with him. Please don't do the online thing...I was watching Dateline a few weeks ago and they did an segment about online predators...it was really scary! Good luck with your son!

Hi Linda!

I think it's great that you are looking for someone to interact with your son, but I would strongly discourage you from trying to find someone online (even if it is just an online relationship). You have no way of knowing about the person on the other end and if their intentions are good with regards to your son. I'd recommend finding a Big Brothers organization or YMCA in your area that might have a mentoring program where volunteers are screened.

Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

My son is 12 and has A.D.H.D plus he is a slow learner. But he has a BIG KIND LOVING HEART!!!!!! to everyone. He is the only boy in the house now.
He needs to loose at least 30 lbs. I need someone to encourge him to want to look good and feel good about himself and why he needs to. Moms just can't do that. No matter what I say to try to encourge him, it does not help. He wants sooooooo badly to look like the cool kids at school and not get picked on. It would great if someone would have time to email him also. thanks God Bless Linda
