Thanks for your kind words. I am proud of her for not even considering terminating the pregnancy. God had plans for that baby from the start. It took a lot of courage and strenth on my daughter's part to be able to be so selfless as to give the baby a chance at a decent life even if it meant w/o her in it.

I admire young women who acknowledge they are not in the best place for caring for a baby but have the courage to continue with the pregnancy and selflessly give the greatest gift to another family. She should be proud of herself.

Unfortunately my 16 yo having sex was much easier to deal with than her having a baby and placing it for adoption. She's much calmer now than before, but I still worry about her. The baby is being raised by a really sweet, caring family.
Before she got pregnant, she was into experimenting w/drugs & alcohol. She just didn't get the fact that her actions would eventually catch up to her.

My daughter was really horrible at 16 and 17 to the point that she was sacked from her part time job, expelled from college and would go missing from home for nights at a time.
She is now eighteen, back at college and planning to set up home with her boyfriend in the next two years.
She is nw far more appreciative of anything I do for her and is also very helpful. We communicate much more now.
Unfortunately for us things did get really bad including steling from me before they got better but they did get better.
If I knew then what I know now I wouldn't react as quickly and as much to what she said or did. It turned out that she just could not cope with the demands of her college course and was under a great deal of pressure at college and at home to do well. She gave up trying at home and at college or was it all a cry for help and she identified herself with a group who thaought it was perfectly acceptable to behave in this way.
I think I would be more concerned about her having had sex at such a young age than anything else.

I could just be talk.....I've got two teenage daughters 16 & 14. The 16 yo has also said she's "bi", etc. It's like it's the cool thing to say with teens nowadays. I've even shown mine in the Bible where it flat out says that being gay is wrong.

I am a single parent with 2 daughters ages 8 and 14. My oldest I think got switched somewhere and got replaced with something from out of space. She thinks she's gay, told me she has had sex already and has a sassy mouth. I swear on my life that I told her about sex, my belief on being gay and about to never disrespect people. I feel like I have entered the Twellight Zone! Any advice would be great!
