We are just starting TTC our 3rd child. I wanted to lose another 10 pounds, but I'm not sure if that will happen. I am just sticking w/ my eating healthy and better choices. I am taking my vitamins as well. I am losing weight until I get the BFP. I am really hoping for at least 3-5 more pounds. I am ovulating around the 30th-april 1st this cycle, so we'll see!
With my first pregnancy I gained 38 pounds, ending at 168. With my 2nd I gained 28, also ending at 168!

| My hubby and I have been ttc for about 7 months now with no luck. I am trying to lose weight so that I won't be over 200 lbs. again like I was with my first child. I am looking forward to hitting my goal weight and getting pregnant, which ever comes first.

| DH and I have been TTC since April 2006. I hope that getting healthier will help along the way for that. It drives me nuts sometimes when people ask when we are planning on having kids. It isnt as easy as saying 3 months from now. Good luck to you ladies. I wish you all the best of luck in the TTC journey.

Hi there,
DH and I are TTC our first child right now as well and because I don't know when I'll get my BFP, I just started a weight loss regimen. I had been putting it on hold for so long, worrying about losing a lot and then gaining a whole lot back while PG. I'm afraid of going into depression, but after reading plenty of articles see that it's the healthiest to get your body as in shape as possible to prevent a lot of problems during PG and for your the child that you carry.
I'm just doing 30 min tae bo and eating more of a raw foods and vegeterian diet.

Sounds great. We just started trying again for our second child. It's been 2 months so far with no luck, I have problems with ovaries so our first child was a blessing so we're hoping to continue to be blessed the way we were with her. We really want 4 children and are hoping that my ovary problems won't stop that. My last pregnancy I gained 63 pounds! I got it all off but recently my mom got sick and I put 10 pounds back on from all the stress. I promised myself I wouldn't be as unhealthy with my next child.
I can't imagine the struggle you're going through. God bless you for keeping your spirits up, I admire you. I'm so glad I found someone to talk with to keep me motivated!!

| Yes!!! Me too. We have been trying for over two yeas now. I have started taking fertility meds, and the side effects are killing me. Hot flashes, ravenous appetite, weight gain, etc. But I want a baby and a healthy pregnancy, so it's worth it I guess. Let's start our prego times at a healthy weight, and only gain the recommended amount, shall we?

S,
There are a number of SparkTeams for those TTC, or trying to lose post-pregnancy weight. If you do a search, you should find them.
Hope that helps!

| Hello! Since I've had my first child I've lost a total of 63 pounds I put on during pregnancy but recently put 10 pounds back on due to stress. Now I'm trying to lose that weight but TTC at the same time. I'm trying to stay healthy pregnant or not. I don't want my next pregnancy to turn out the way my last one did with WAY too much weight being put on. Anyone else in the same boat?
