I have an 18 month old and a 7 week old daughters.......plus I live in Iowa where it's cold out right now! :( I wish I could get outside to walk or something but with the two of them, it's almost impossible! I was doing exercise videos on my maternity leave but I started back to work today and I'm worried about finding a time to work out now where my husband isn't sitting on the couch watching me! Ha ha ha!

My little one is 8 weeks old. He's such a joy but it's really hard to get anything done because he always wants your undivided attention! :) I work also, so exercise has definitely fallen by the wayside. Used to go to the gym, but I can't bear to spend extra time away from baby than I already do. We got ourselves an elliptical trainer for Valentine's Day, so I'm committed to start using that.

My son was born in October. I've been struggling with the same thing... finding time to exercise. Sometimes I just try to squeeze in squats, lunges or abs whenever I have a moment at all. I figure a few lunges are better than none at all.

Hi,
I'm also a new mother. My son is 11 weeks and 3 days. Currently I'm doing turbo jam and he loves watching me exercise. Lately he really hasn't been sleeping that much during the day so I have him sit in his bouncer while I'm exercising. You may want to try that sometimes.

Good Luck!

My baby is 18 weeks old and just started really napping during the day...it is SO wonderful but I also have a 3 year old! What I do is when the 3 year old is napping and the 18 week old is awake, I put him in the swing and do a workout video that I tape each morning. He likes to watch me move around and I make faces at him which takes my mind off the pain! Ha ha!

3 hours a DAY IS GREAT!!!!
at 12 weeks old, I would assume she takes a few naps during the day. Could you do a little workout video during these? Either purchase something that you may like, or rent some from the video store, or Netflix.
Others are using Cable On Demand that gives new fitness workouts.
Coach Nicole has a few 15 and 20 minute workout videos in the Resource Center near the bottom of the Fitness List.

You may have to check with your Dr. to make sure they have cleared you for any harder workouts right now.

Also check the article in the Resouce Center about wedding dress exercises. you may get a few ideas from this as well.
Take it a bit easy since it is only 12 weeks.
