When my second daughter turned 3, we had a Cinderella party. She was a TOTAL Cinderella freak! Even knew all the lines to the movie. Anyway, she dressed up as Cinderella. For games, we also played pin the kiss on the frog. We broke into small groups and made "ball gowns" from tissue paper. Then danced at the ball until "midnight". When the clock struck midnight (all this is just pretend), the girls ran outside leaving one shoe behind. While I took group pictures of the girls in their ball gowns, a helper put prizes in the shoes. Then we had cake and presents. The cake was in the shape of a glass slipper. I just baked a regular sheet cake and then cut it into the slipper shape. Iced it with white icing, piped blue around the edges. It was a perfect party for little girls!

Hope your princess has a magical party!

We had a princess party for my daughter when she turned 4. I avoided the Disney Princesses because every other little girl had had them and because then everything is more expensive. We played "Pin the Kiss on the Frog". I took foam core board and drew a frog and then cut lips out of red poster board. The kids loved it. For a craft we decorated crowns for them to wear. We also a princess and the pea game where we'd put a little ball under a pillow and they had to sit on pillows to tell which one it was. We made the castle cake and also served little tea sandwiches. We made Kir Royales for the mom's to enjoy. If you google children's birthday parties you will find websites with lots and lots of ideas! Enjoy!

We held a Princess Party this past summer for my 3 year old. We had a tea party, made crowns as a craft and had a treasure hunt around the house for pretty things tied with pink bows (purses, jewels, sparkly stickers...from the dollar store) We even had a parent dress up as a queen and tell a story about how she became a "queen".

We did scroll invitations on the computer as well, and the royal king (dad) had to drop them in the mailboxes of all the princesses.

So much fun! Look online and you'll get a lot of wonderful ideas.

Hi,
I also have a daughter turning 4 who is having a princess party. I love all of the ideas. We are going to have the girls come in their princess dresses and I found foam crowns and wands that they will decorate with sparkles and glitter. Luckily, I have taken a cake decorating class (part of the reason I ended up at SP!) and can make a cake to go along with the theme. Good luck!

This December we did a Princess party for our 6 yr old.

We did the cake the lady talked about. Google search and found several to look at for our own ideas.

We love crafts. I found a Cap pattern. Very easy, I used some material around the house and allowed the girls to decorate them themselves.

They also made crowns with pip cleaners and beads, then twisted on to plastic head bands. Time didn't allow, but I had wands ready to make.

Then I put the extra mirrors around a large round coffee table with lace table cloth. You know how girls like to look at themselves. Did a special into like they do for grand balls 'Princess(last name) of (used their street names since we all lived in the same town)'.

We used hot apple cider for tea and then they had their princess tea and cake.

There are lots of ideas on line. Dawn

My sister-in-law just threw a princess party for her 5-year-old daughter a few weeks ago. So maybe I can help!

First of all, all the little girls came dressed up in their own "princess" dress that they had at home. (All the pretty little Disney things). So everyone came dressed as a princess and my sister-in-law made a cake (I know they have these in the cookbooks) that was a castle. It was easy to make and has cute ice cream cones as the towers. Very cute!

They also had put pink and purple Christmas lights along the ceiling.

So nothing was pricey at all, but it was very sweet and everything was very pretty!

I am having my daughters 4th birthday party next weekend and she wants a princess theme. Does anyone have any games or ideas for this party. She wants everything to revolve around princesses. I would really be thankful if someone could help with some suggestions.
