Hello All,

Well,i have!! for about 6 months!! And believe me IT DOES HAVE GOOD RESULTS!! I did see results,my body is stronger,my legs,my arms and my back (which was really killing me). Of course this doesnt' mean that i go home and eat like a pig because i worked out with this machine!
And of course,i still work out like in the past (ground exercises, treadmill etc). But this exercises are one minues during the week becuase i added the jet vibe (that's how is called).
Try it.. don't count only on the magazines and what your granmdother was using some years ago!!!!

Mamamug.......girlfriend let me tell you this ....

How many times have we heard " simple ways to loose weight " "fantastic diet suppliment " "exiting breakthrough in weightloss" " loose all the weight you want in 6 easy steps"...........ect ect ect

Please Please Please do not waste any money on this New invention.....unless your going to Pick the darn thing up and run around the block carrying it over your head!!!!

Look at the storys of people who lost money on "gimmics " here on sparkpeople there are thousands of storys and they all have the same outcome ....." it was great ,but at the end of the day Diet and execise did it for me "

Save your money for that little black dress you will fit into when you reach your goal...

The brand name in Japan is different but it looks very similar to the power plate, and YES...I have no doubt that there could be effects from this machine that are not yet discovered. I definitely would not use it during pregnancy!! Also, full body vibration is know to cause nerve problems like peripheral neuropathy in workers who are overexposed. How much is too much?? The 10 minutes that I do once in a while seems within healthy limits, and it does feel pretty good, when combined with "real" exercise, of course.

Are you talking about the Power Plate? According to April's Shape mag more studies need to be done 'on their effect on the spine and use during pregnancy.'

Hi! I live in Japan where those vibrating machines are becoming popular. There is one in town that costs about 3$ for 10 minutes, I don't believe ALL the stuff that is said about it BUT I have to admit even though I am a born skeptic of fads...that it feels great. Like a deep massage. I splurge once in a while, then do my walking, skating or Pilates in the evening, and it seems to be making good use of what little time I have.
Don't just stand there, do light squats and twists.
I would doubt you could get your money's worth actually buying one for home use, because a well built one would be affordable for only the richest of us...a lower model I suspect would be a waste of money and time.
It does seem to be speeding up my progress believe it or not!! I don't think the effect is as similar to the old fashioned belt machines as many think.

I just read an article in my fitness magazine. Basically they said if you do other excercises while standing on them, you do get a slight benefit because your muscles have to work harder to keep you stable. Same idea as the balance balls etc. They had a few listed and the cheapest was 400 up to thousands. I would get a less expensive balance board and get the same effect.

I saw an ad for them today and I just had to laugh hysterically. It's an old gimic with a new shape. I remember when my Grandmother had one of those vibrating machines with the belt that did essentially the same thing back 30 years ago or so. I don't really think that you can just stand there and be vibrated by some machine and end up thin and muscular. If that was really true, don't you think that they would be in every big bucks health club and spa in the world? It may be my common sense, but if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is!

Has anybody tried those vibration boards that are becoming kind of popular? They claim to help with a bunch of things. I was wondering if anybody has had any feedback, good or bad. Thank you.
