Thanks so much! I really wanted honest opinions. I am surprised to hear it is so popular in the midwest. I haven't heard the pitch. I just have a friend who lives in California that started selling it and sent me samples. It is expensive, and I am quite turned off by that. I am also turned off by the fact that it is a pyramid scheme. That being said, it really has made a difference in my skin. I am quite certain a dermatologist knows more than I do about skin. However, it really has made my skin look a lot better. So, while you really may have talked me out of selling it, I really do still like the products I have tried.

I've heard this pitch presented to a dermatologist. It makes you feel better about how your skin looks on the outside, but it was his opinion that it didn't really do what it said to the deeper layers of skin. It's important to know that it really is a pyramid scheme since whomever gets you to sell it also gets paid on what you sell. There are lots of people trying to sell it in the midwest, so the competition is high (much higher than the person making the pitch said) and rather hard to sell since it is very expensive. Also you can buy it online directly from the company and other people. I went to a local home-type show once and there were three booths with different sales reps trying to sell it. They were rather shocked to see how many other people were selling it in the area when they were told that they would have an fairly exclusive area. I didn't get a very good impression from the lady with the PhD who made the pitch to the Dr., so I'm not hot on the idea myself. Each to his/her own though. Obviously the concept is working for some people since so many people have sucked into selling it. Good luck!

I have a friend that recently started selling a skin care/health line called Arbonne. Has anyone ever heard of it? I hadn't. Anyway, this is in no way intended to sell these products. I just wanted opinions if anyone has them to offer. So, she sent me some samples and I fell in love with the skin care line. I haven't ever tried a home business, though I have been offered many. I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience, or had any advise on home business in general or these products specifically. Thanks!
