man , i've just realized i've written a stupidity. actually My DH is the same as the first day we met!!! he doesn't control me, actually he likes to see me sexy and cute. I don't flirt wt ppl when we go out or anything and i don't go out wt the girls b/c all they can talk abt is me being obsessed wt weigh loss.
he isn't jealous and never admits he'd ever be jealous for any reason. i don't really believe this LOL

This is a tough thread for me to pass by. What you're describing sounds a lot like my ex-DH. He was extremely controlling, which came from his insecurity. I found that I stopped wearing certain outfits, and didn't share little anecdotes to keep from upsetting him. I eventually realized that I wasn't "me" any longer. He wouldn't go to counseling, and started to get violent and I left.
I was the right decision for me, and I share this story not to encourage anyone else to do the same, but to just remind you that you need to take care of yourself and to always remember that you deserve the very best from those that love you.

| OH MY GOD!!! My husband TOO!!! I went out one night to a night club with my girls just to dance. I didn't dance with anyone else besides my girls, I came home and he wouldn't look at me, he wouldn't talk to me, nothing!!! The next morning same thing he completely ignored me. I was "such a bitch" for going out! I totally understand where you're coming from.

I wish I could help, but unfortunately I'm in the same situation. It seems like my husband doesn't want me to look good because he doesn't want other people to look at me. He shuts me out for days if I wear clothing that he doesn't like!

DH is the same as the first day we met. He loves that i wear flattering clothes and he knows i wouldn't leave him. True, he reminds me i'm think enough and don't need to lose anymore LOL
true, DH is thin and tall and looking awesome. i'd be a fool to let him go. and he isn't even trying to look like that LOL

| Does anyone have a husband out there that doesn't want you to lose weight because he's insecure? My husband doesn't like most of his body, though I love every bit of it. I would never leave him and reassure him numerous times a day. But he ALWAYS gives me problems when it comes to me losing weight. He doesn't like me to wear certain clothes and doesn't want me to lose weight because then other men will look at me. That's his biggest problem is that he doesn't want other people to look at me!! WHATS UP WITH THAT????!!!
