| I am trying to figure out a way to work in crunches so I can work on getting rid of my midsection.

| I do leg lifts from my chair when I am charting. I also briskly walk from one destination to the other to get the heart rate up while I am going.

| I try to do lots of walking in place when I'm meeting with people or on conference calls.

| Be sure to commit to and schedule your exercise time now before something else replaces the school excuse.

This is true...right now I only work one to two days a week and am in school three days a week so I just need to try to prioritize my day a little better

| Your lunch should be nothing but your lunch. That being said, I do Spark during my lunch. My other meals are just for eating.

| Thanks I found her and she has a very interesting story and maybe I will be able to work some of those exercises in my workday except most of the time my lunch break consists of sitting at the desk(my lunch) while I am with my patient. My job consists of a lot of movement but the hard part is putting in the extra movement while keeping care of my patient.

| Go to OITSME269's site. She has found a lot of time to exercise. I hope she is still active.

| I totally understand. I work 12 hour days and I have the same problem it is hard to fit in an exercise routine and though it seems like you get a lot of movement at work if it is a consistent amount it doesn't help you lose weight and by the time you get home you just want to land and relax. I do that I am a student nurse and I extern at the hospital with nurses and I bet when I graduate and I am a nurse I will have even less energy for exercise during the days that I work. So I am interested in anything people come up with as well.

| What type of work do you do? It sounds like you are getting plenty of exercise at work. When you get up in the morning do some stretching and some free weights for your upper body and you should be OK. Let me know.

Well, since you already get up at 4:30, I won't suggest that you work out in the morning to get it out of the way ;o)
How many days a week do you work? Do you have any flexibility to walk at lunch? There are so many great exercise demos in the Fitness Resource Center that you could do while you are watching tv at night. Another thought is fitting 10 minutes of exercise in your schedule in the morning, 10 minutes at lunch and 10 minutes after you get home. That's an extra 30 minutes when it's all said and done.
Here is an article that I found in the Resource Center than may help you! Small Bits of Fitness Add Up
Plan your days out the night before. Being as organized as possible does make a difference on your sanity and your free time. Hang in there and remember to take it one day at a time!
Be well, Kelly

| Maybe I don't plan my day right but on days I have to work I can't seem to find the energy to workout. I have a treadmill and some kind of weight machine & free weights. The treadmill makes too much of a racket to use in a.m. as it would wake my kids up, since I get up at 4:30. Also I'm on my feet all day long so my lower body just wants to be elevated after I get home & do the dinner routine. Any suggestions? Thanks for any feedback. Claire
