Oh yeah, Kick-boxing is great for venting. I always feel good after.

That is what I do when doing Tae-bo. I even now have the standing boxing bag and that is GREAT to release the frustration.

when I was in much better shape, Racketball was my favorite way to burn off steam. Picturing my boss's head as the ball did wonders

Yes, it's better to burn off some steam and calories before responding to something that you may regret some of the words you use later.
Take a few deep breaths and go for a walk, to the gym, or do some kick boxing. I LOVE TO DO THAT WHEN I AM REALLY MAD

dealing with some issues with Jason's high school (severe physical limitations)

been awake since about 3am "writing email in my mind". Probably should take long weekend to calm down before responding to email huh. better yet, I should head to the gym and work off some of this frustration.
