Exercise for most pregnant women is perfectly acceptable. There are a couple of conditions that would make it unhealthy, but chances are if you are exercising prior to pregnancy, you can do the same exercise once pregnant - with a few modifications.
I'd recommend a preconception visit to your midwife or doctor. Ask the questions about fitness in early pregnancy now because it's usually quite a wait for that first appointment.

Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I would recommend talking to the staff at Curves so they can advise you where needed!
I hope it goes smoothly for you.

| I agree with the others, to ask your doctor. But I wanted to add, that I walked throughout my whole pregnancy, and I really felt like that made a difference in labor. Labor is a physical task, and the better shape you are in, the better it will be. Also, I lost my baby weight incredibly fast b/c my metabolism was up so high from excersise. I also HIGHLY recommend the best diet ever - breast feeding :) Best of Luck!

Want2b-
Provided that your pregnancy has no complications and your doctor clears you for exercise (which happens in most normal pregnancies), then yes, the Curves workout is fine during pregnancy. Strength training, yoga, cardio of various types, etc. are safe and encouraged during pregnancy. Definitely check out BabyFit.com to learn more. Our sister site is focused on exercise, and healthy eating during pregnancy, so you will find tons of helpful info there. Also, you can check it out without a log-in by clicking on the various tabs on the homepage (Resource Centers, Community, etc.), but memberships there are also free.
