I looked into that. Thanks for sharing.I am not going to get involved with them.My mom did a few years ago. They were going by a different name.I would like to be able to work from home but that just is not for me.I think I am going to go to a temp agency. That way I answer to them instead of the company and the hours are more flexable.I can do part time and be home with the kids.

I will have to look at this...I know this sounds kinda salesy but I am a Pampered Chef consultant and I make pretty good money on a consistant monthly basis. BUT, there are so many great opportunities, make sure your family is first priority.

Schools are GREAT or college. My sister in law works for a Local college. Not sure exactly what she does but it's for one of the Science Professors. She's lucky to work only during the school year and has close to the same weeks off as the kids. PLUS she gets FREE classes. She is only able to take one at a time, but by next year she will have all her pre classes done and sign up for the nursing classes and will be done with that in 2 years.
If your in MI, it would be hard to find anything. Check the papers, others I know have used the Temp agency's.
Hope you find something you LOVE.

Great suggestions Kris10. If they don't have a gym, ask if they support lunchtime activity - maybe a group of employees has a running or walking group.

Oh, you are so lucky to be starting from scratch. Things I would look for would be...

Good benefits (health insurance, retirement, flexible benefits, paid holiday, paid vacation or pto, etc.), a gym or workout center at the place (you'd be surprised a lot of employers now have this) or a gym that's close by or has a nice area to walk. I would talk to the person hiring and make sure they know you need a flexible schedule (ie.time off for school program, conferences, etc). Any employer with kids knows that these things are important.

hey guys.I am going to have to go back to work very soon.I would like to find a job that is Monday - Friday.8am to 3 or 4 pm.Any suggestions?I am a jack of all trades kind of person.I pick up things quickly. In the past I have done office work it has been a few years though. I have also been a bank teller, retal sales, waitress, and some other stuff. Most recently my work has been in fast food management.Last job though I gained 15 pounds in 3 months.I have almost lost that much.Only a few pounds to go.I would really like to be home when the kids are.I don't know if I can get in with any school type jobs. Thanks for any suggestions you give.
