I can relate to the lack of adult conversation. Chatty 4 year olds only go so far

I find chewing gum can help. Staying out of the kitchen, closing the kitchen door helps me remember to go do other things.

Hang in there! Something that helps me in the evenings (especially now with the cooler weather) is to sip on hot chocolate. I make mine with milk and hershey syrup...this way I get my chocolate fix, my calcium and it keeps me from the boredom munchies.

Be well,
Kelly

My husband is working late tonight. Which really sucks. Not only does it mean I'm stuck at home with my 2 kids - and already have been for 12 hours today - and no hope of help in sight. But it also means that I'm bored. When I get bored, I get snacky... I have to keep telling myself that I had a reasonable dinner and I can have a snack later, but I don't need to be going and searching the kitchen every couple of minutes!

It's so hard. I think this is probably the first big challenge I've faced since I've been on the site (3 1/2 weeks now). I've been doing really good, but not having any adult company this evening is driving me crazy!
