I am breastfeeding the little guy!

As for your little one:

Does he stop crying once you put him into your bed? Some little ones have bouts of separation anxiety, often at bed time. If you put him down to sleep but stay in the room, hold his hand etc is it as bad?

What about changes in his diet? Perhaps dairy intollerence? Or maybe gluten or wheat? This can make them funny of an evening? Just an idea.

I have heard that growing pains or quite common though - I hope that it passes soon!

Even though I don't have twins (even though I am one) may be one of them is growing so to speak faster than the other and wants to be in a separate space - maybe!! the one that is waking all the time maybe put in your room so that you can tend to and sooth and the other leave in the other room so that the crying of the other doesnt' wake him. Just a thought and if it doesn't work at least you know you have done everything. Don't worry everything will work out even if it takes longer than expected

Yes, he is waking every night about 2 hours after we finally get him down to sleep (between him and his brother it is about an hour). He is only crankly during the day once in a while, although he is my active child, always on the go. Are you bf or bottle?

Is he waking up every night? And is he just crying during the night or during the day as well?

Sleep - I wish we could buy it on e-bay ?!!! My DS is 5 months old and I havent had more than 5 hours sleep in a night for the whole 5 months (I normally manage on about 3) !!!

Hi, My twins are 14 months old. Up until about 2 weeks ago, they slept perfectly, 10-12 hours per night and a 2 hour nap during the day. Well 2 weeks ago, one of the boys started to scream during the night. I figured it was teething, so I gave him some tylenol. That didn't work, I tried Ibuprophen, Hyland's teething tablets, Benadryl and then absolutely nothing (not all at the same time of course). We went to the pediatrician who said that it is either teething or growing pains and that we should let him cry it out. Since the dr. appt, he has gotten a bit of a cold (which he promptly gave to his brother), but last night we did try to let him cry it out. He screamed for two hours! He stood up in the crib and wouldn't lay down. I tried several times in this period to get him to lay down, but that made him cry worse. I don't really like to let him cry like that, but I have heard that the first few nights are the worst and then it slowly gets better. Well, after 2 hours, we all had enough and he ended up in our bed again (this is not something that we really want to be doing). I am exhausted, he is exhausted, dh is exhausted and his brother who shares a room with him just sleeps right on through it, the little angel. Does anyone have any ideas or advice for me? I really don't want to give him any medicine anymore, especially if it isn't even working! Any thoughts would really help me!!! Thanks!
