I have to agree with sub. He obviously is thinking of noone but himself (which probably caused the problems in his marriage). Talk to your husband and set up a time line of when he needs to be out, whether it be one day, week or month. But lay it all out for him, it may be just what he needs to straighten up his life.
Hopefully your husband is on the same page as you are. And if this "friend" is truly a friend he will understand. Good luck!

| It may just be me but I wouldn't be so worried about being rude because he sure isn't. It's one thing to ask a friend to put you up for a few days but when it turns into months....

| Just explain to him that your are not trying to rude but it has been a little crowded and if he could please find a place within the next week. Explain to him that the last thing you want to do is be rude but you just need your space back.

Hi,
I would suggest that you sit down with your husband with him and make it perfectly clear that you are giving him one week to find a place or he will have to find another friends house to stay at. That you are still happy to be there if he needs someone to chat with and it is ok for him to come by and visit once and awhile. Be firm - be clear. You, your husband and children need to have your space back.
On the joking side of it all, you can always use one of these excuses! ;) LOL

| My husband was nice enough to let a friend of both of ours to stay with us for a few weeks ( because his wife gave him the boot)...well he said he was staying until he knows what is going on between the two of them...the problem is its been almost 2 MONTHS and i've talked to his wife she told him she was done and now we can't get rid of him... we don't want to be mean...we have 2 liilte girls and i go back to work after being off for a year in august...please help...i need advise!!!
