| Hello ladies! I hope you don't mind if I join in? I have a 4 year old son and when we go out in public, it's like he's been locked up forever! Over the past 2 months I've dragged him kicking and screaming out of 4 stores. We don't go out that much so it's not like I'm dragging him all over creation! Some days I feel like I'm the worst mother when he has a fit and I won't give in, but if I do, then who's the parent?!LOL

| I feel like this most of the time as well. And my mom and in-laws and friend tell me how good my girls are. I look at them as though they are crazy. But then I realized that the girls are good around others. But at home, with just hubby and I, well, they try to get away with more things, making life difficult for all of us. lol
|

| I feel this way everyday. Especially big outings. I look at my girlfriends and think they do it best but then they always comment on how well behaved my girl is all the time. I try and remember that. Plus if parenting gets too easy someone's not doing their job! LOL.

| ladies, just remember that God never gives you more than you can handle.

| Take faith that most parents feel like that at some point. I have a friend that acts like being a mom is the easiest thing in the world. One day I confronted her about it, and she admitted that same days are so hard she wants to give up (but of course she can't). She felt like she had to show the world that it was the best thing ever!

| I'm willing to bet we all have our hamster days and make it look easy days. Some children are easier than others out in public. We just don't always know when people think we make it look easy.

| I think the same sometimes as well. Than again I have had people tell me that I make it look easy. I think it goes both ways sometimes.

| Or is parenting sometimes overwhelming? I look at friends and other moms I see out and about, and some people make it look so dang easy. I feel like a hamster on a wheel sometimes.
