b12 first time hearing of that as an energy supplement but i'll look in to it. I can't excrcise between classes but i do take the kids to the park at least 2 days out the weekend. I guess i'll just have to settle for working out fri.-sun. well in june we are moving where there will be a pool so i look forward to a better and healthier month in june -now to make it through may.

I have heard taking some B12 supplements can boost your energy. I haven't tried it yet, since I am pregnant again. On the weekends can you do stuff with your kids? ride bikes, walk, hike, soon here we can go swimming at local pool.

The ones that have soccor or other sports you can always try walking around the field while you watch them play. Just keep moving and don't sit down while you watch them. Even standing will burn more calories than sitting. And you can always do some tummy tucks while sitting or standing. Just pull in abs for a couple seconds a few times.

I have even done a few of the strength exercises on the fitness section at my desk. Dips on chair with knees bent, wall push ups, standing abduction, only 2 sets of 12. Could you do these between classes?

guess what?! POOKEYBUM624 being active all day and playing with your kids is excercise if you go to your fittness goals where you enter in what excercise you did and how long- look under cardio and there is one that says playing with kids. Cardio is moving period not neccessarily something specific, just now try to emplent strenghth traning/toning. Try getting more sleep, and i have a 3 year old going on 4 and sometimes it helps to put her in my bed till she falls asleep and then put her back in hers- she'll out in a matter of minutes.

Yikes, you sure do have a full schedule!!!
I'm SAHM now but when I was a working mom I tried to find 'exercise' I could do at work. Mainly that meant making a point of getting up every hour or so and do a few flights of stairs, or at least walk around (you know, 2-3 minutes or so). This helps perk you up so the rest of the hour of work is more productive, anyway. HTH. Guess it depends what kind of work you do and what kind of boss you have, hopefully there is something you can fit in...good luck!!!

I was thinking the same thing!!
I am a single parent who works 8-5 m-f, my son has soccer T&T for an hour, we have stoped Karate for the spring & summer, and swimming lessons summer sessions will start soon. (not to mention the winter sports that are over the the three of us)
I get the kids to bed (daughter,4 a handful when it comes to bedtime, AAAUUUGGGHHH)
and I sit down with a large glass of water and think to my self. I should do my Gazelle, if I could only move, I know that I would feel better if I got off the couch and did it, If I could only get off the couch. I am active through out the day and evening with the walking for 30 min at lunch and playing and chasing the kids when it is nice outside at the park or at soccer. I need just a little more energy to help get back into the exercise routine.......any suggestions

Do you get a lunch break at work? I go for walks during my lunch break because with a young baby at home I never know when I'll get to exercise.

You can try incorporating short 5 - 10 minutes bouts of exercise throught the day. You might be able to get your family members to join you on a walk/bike ride.

You can try different Pilates moves. I have a deck of cards that I bought a year or two ago, and they are great for quick workouts. You can do one card or fifteen ... Whatever you have time and energy for. They are strength exercises, but they count as cardio ... I love it! Hope this helps ...

You sound busier than I am. I am a single mom of a two month old. I am active duty navy so I try to do as much as I can when I am not at sea. I go to school after work also, but mine are online classes. I would try to find things you can do with your children like go for a walk while they ride bikes. Some gyms have family classes or times designated for family excersing. If you really put your mind to it you will find the time. It might be a little exhausting but you will thank yourself later. Good luck.

I am a working mother/wife/student. My day starts at 6:30 am and from 7:30am till 3:30pm mon.-fri. i'm at work. I go to school Mon.-Thur. 6pm-10/11pm. In between work and school i cook and spend time with my family. Friday i'm running errands, and saturday and sunday is family time with the kids. Who has time to excercise?! By the time i get a chance i'm toooo tired! I need excercises that i can do quick and that are effective
