| I love walking/running with the stroller. If you are in an area to do it, go for it! It's another great way to get the kids outside. Also, I found out today "playing with the kids" option under other activities. After 45 mins, it said I burned a total of 378 calories.

I am the mother of 4. My oldest is now 11 and my youngest is 5. I have been where you are and it can be very frustrating, but not impossible.
Do you remember when you were a teenager and danced for hours without stopping? It is great cardio excercize and you daughters will love it too. Richard Simons may be a little goofy, but my mom gave me his tapes and my kids love to do them with me. There are also special videos just for moms and kids to do together. I have one called lets get moving.
Doing a workout on the floor like abs of steel or Pilates or something can be very frustrating with toddlers. Do the dance time first and wear them out a little and then let them know that they aren't helping you to be a better mommy if they are crawling on you while you are trying to get healthy.
Most of all, have fun!

| I do the Leslie Sansone "walk away the pounds" videos & my 5 & 4 year old usually do them with me. Or we go for walks, play hide & seek in the yard, different things that the boys enjoy & will do but also allows me to get in the exercise.

| I am a SAHM & have joined a gym with childcare so I can get some workout time in without them crawling all over me. :)

I have five kids, 11,9,7,3, almost 2. I am a sahm so that makes it a little easier. But my 3 year old does not take naps and I sometimes exercise when the other one is awake. What I found that helps is that when I do the treadmill they play with toys down stairs with me. They can only play with them when I work out so it is fun for them. When I do exercise vidoes they do them with me or they find toys. If they want to jump on me I steer them in a different direction and tell them we will play when I am done. Once I am done, then it is back to play time. My kids listen pretty well so it works most times.
I love the suggestion of putting on music and all dance together.

I've joined a gym with childcare. It only takes 3 days a week for a short time 1 hour. Ours has a basketball court so we play with that when we leave so she looks foward to it or we go in the swimming pool(wish it was cheaper). My just 3 year old will still go in the stroller while she eats dinner/breakfast and it gives me time for an hour walk plus we can still talk and we've got the 3 month old along too and we live around stores so I walk to run errands. Used to go for a walk at 4:30 am by myself-didn't like that much.

Try and get them to copy the video lady too! They probably won't be able to properly, but it might keep them off of you.

| I find the easiest way for cardio is to put on some music and get my daughter to dance with me. It makes it more fun too!

I have two toddlers (4 & 2) and work full time (shift work) outside the home. On the days that I work day work I'm up at 4:30-5am and the days I work night work I'm up with the kids during the day and get home from work around midnight. I cant seem to find the time to fit my exercising in and when I try and do my videos (slim in 6) they try and climb all over me and hang on me...lol...My DH is a truck driver so he is usually not home til late at night.
I REALLY need to get back into doing my exercising, I just cant seem to find the time to do it between the kids and other household duties. Anyone else have this problem or have some solutions????
