I only lost 2.5 ponds my first week. Three months later I am 26.6 pounds lighter. I take it one day at a time. Have read it is healthy to lose 1 to 2 a week. Plus I remind myself it took years to put this weight on.

Don't be too disappointed, 4 pounds is great. People tend to lose 2-8 pounds their first week, mostly due to water loss. After that, it SHOULD drop to 1-2 pounds per week to keep going at a healthy rate. Much more than that and it becomes unhealthy weight loss. Meaning, you'll start losing just as much, if not more, muscle than fat. Keep up the work you did in the first week and you'll be at your goal before you know it.

I have been a member for quite a while but just began to seriously follow the diet plan. I lost four pounds in the first week. I thought it was more...darn it.
But I will keep at it.
