| Same my wife would prefer to be at the games. She enjoys watching me play softball and rugby. She is a soccer player so this helps out in her understanding of the importance of sports.

My wife watches baseball, hockey, football, and nascar with me, but she really enjoys being there as opposed to TV. (Don't we all?) She never did like sports at first, until we started turning it into a way for us to wager clothing and intimate actions with each other...but I don't want to turn this into an adult site. lol This may be something for other couples to try who want both time together and sports though, as she is now a fan even without the wagers, and fun to watch with.

| Are you kidding me. She will sit through a baseball game if we are at the game. At home, she would rather pull her fingernails out with rusty needle nose pliers than to sit through one inning. Same goes for football, basketball, hockey, soccer, and golf. (I agree with her on the golf)

My wife loves to watch sports with me, and it's really enjoyable. She is now getting really interested in hockey, but doesn't understand the game much. Much like football, I watch the games with her, and explain the terminology, tactics, and penalties, so she understands. Now if only I could get her interested in MMA and boxing!!!!!
| My wife does. She really likes to watch football and basketball with me and will sometimes watch baseball and hockey with me.

| I hear ya. I've never had a girlfriend who enjoys watching sports. But, if you look on the bright side of things, it gives you a chance to get out and have fun with your buddies: something that becomes more important when you're in a serious relationship.

| She has gotten more into sports since we've been married. She loves watching (and going) the Texas Rangers... and she enjoies watching any of LSU's teams play (football, basketball (M&W), baseball, softball) whatever is on.
| She loves football and hockey, not so much basketball and baseball. Being a Dolphin fan, she hasn't had much to cheer about the last couple of years, but she remains faithful.
| Only when we go to watch the Colts play.

| She loves football. She's actually won our fantasy football league more than I have! UGH.

| Well, as a kid golf used to bore me silly when my dad used turn it on. But when my son took the sport up when he was about 10 I started attending the Jr tournaments and walking the courses with him. It gave me a whole new perspective on the game. Now I'm not saying it's my favorite sport to watch, college football will always hold that place. The heart those kids play with amazes me and always gets me pumped up.

Val I have to take my cap off to you-I have tried to watch golf but fall asleep every time I try You are a true fan.

| I mostly like college football, always ready for the season to begin. As I live in Houston the local teams have left a little to be desired I watch when the home teams are on. I'll even watch golf,(son was a asst. pro)never thought I'd do that!
| Yes-in fact she is more faithful to stay glued to the set-whereas I will drop in for spats-do other things while listening to the game.I just cant stay seated in front of the tv for long periods.

My fiancée likes to watch football; however, I don't. I'd rather go do something than watch sports as I find sports on television boring.
Kind of opposite I guess.
Edit: Apparently, fiancé is the male and fiancée is the female. Who knew?!

| Since my girlfriend and I have started dating, I have turned her into a Pats fan(the best kind of fan around) And we have watched the patriots go 16-0 this year even though she is in college in virginia and i am in mass in college. If she can't watch a game I have to text her with the score and such. We watch baseball, and watched the red sox win the world series. It is so much fun watching her watch sports, because she is really into it. She is awesome!

| My wife of 46 years has never watched sports with me, except for maybe figure skating competitions. At least she never criticized me for my attraction to viewing competitive events. To her credit though, she loves doing stuff outdoors with me and my buddies. Maybe thats one of the reasons we lasted so long.

you have a nice spirit. you seem like a motivator.
keeping your goal in mind will help you motivate yourself.
having activities that take you away from home is a great way to lose interest in, and focus on food.
in a way we are all alone. while you may be alone at home, you are not alone in spirit. you are clearly surrounded.
being a single parent is a challenge. being a parent is a challenge. 'being' is a challenge. hang in there, and be pleasantly surprised at what can happen to you from your own efforts, and what can happen for you from your efforts to help others.
best of luck. mark.

i watch sports with my hubby. If we are watching them at home its a nice time to cuddle in front of the tv but we often go over to his parents house to watch it with his step dad.
I have to say though, even some do not consider these a sport ...i love love love going to the horse races and ranch rodeos.

| My wife never liked to watch football. But since we've been married she's right there with me watching Alabama football. She's always liked the Cardinals in baseball, but could never watch football. She's right there with me yelling at the tv when a ref makes a bad call, LOL

She watches baseball with me, but not much else. But she will hang with me while I watch so it is all good. Funny you should post this today because even though she was saying how football was on all the time (cause of thanksgiving) she offered to watch with me tonight!

I think my wife yells at the TV more than I do watching football. It's almost humorous though, trying to explain why the RB is going right into the big "rugby scrum" in the middle of the field instead of going around.....

No she doesn't. I use to follow football more closely the "Niners". Since the niners haven't been doing much hasn't been a big deal, and still haven't missed the superbowl.
Funny she wants me to watch her dance contest show though.

| Yep! COLTS football every Sunday. We go to some of the games together as well.

Depends on sport. I've turned her into a football fanatic since getting her involved in the office fantasy league where I work(she like's whoever is playing my beloved Packers). She loves watching Hockey(she's a Blackhawks fan, I'm a Wings fan), wrestling, and paintball(as well as playing). I still can't get her to watch boxing or UFC. On the other hand, she likes basketball and I would rather watch paint dry.
