I want to welcome you and your wife to SP. I have only been with SP for about 3 weeks but it has already helped me tremendously. Stick with the plan and follow the site suggestions and it will workd for you both.

Will.....Welcome to SP!!! I'm jealous that you're in Germany. My ancestors are from that part of the world and I would LOVE to visit someday.

Hi Fellows-just joined SP,this week.Looks like a lot of good features,which if followed on a consistent basis,should bring results. Like anything else one wants to improve on-I realize that only Belief,Faith,Commitment and Consistency will allow me to make progress. I'm one of those "Baby-Boomers Plus";starting my 7th decade here on Earth.Sometimes my body tries to tell me this is so-but mentally and emotionally-I'm still believing I'm only in "mid-life" :) For now,I'm living in Grafenhausen(near Darmstadt) Germany with my Wife.She has lived here since 1965-came over here to have a wonderful career as an Opera Singer-which she did! This is my 3rd Marriage,her Second one.We both have /had two adult Sons.My oldest Son passed on in 2001,from Cancer. We went to High School together in Los Angeles,Ca.After that we had no contact till 2003,when our 50 year High School Reunion rolled around.We became re-acquainted on the Internet in connection with our H.S.Reunion.I made it to the Reunion-she wasn't able to. We continued to keep in touch-by E-mail,then soon after by L.D.telephone(via a very good Discount calling plan),by snail mail,etc.Towards the end of 2003 we had become pretty emotionally/romantically involved-and in May of 2004,I asked her to marry me(on the telephone).She accepted.We decided that we would live here,where she had been living.However,to make it convenient for Friends and family members to share our Wedding-we were married in Kensington,Md.-not too far from one of our friend's location.Two weeks later we returned to Germany. We plan to move back to Wisconsin(my Home State) in 3 or 4 years. We are both retired,but very involved with our Church-service and activities,etc.,as well as being involved with Genealogy,Animal interests and some travel. My Wife and I both have Health consideration;she-type 2 diabetes,and high blood pressure-and overweight. I am dealing also with High Blood Pressue,chronic kidney stone condition,had recent hernia operation,and am due for a hip replacement sometime,later this year-and am considerably overweight also. We are using this SP website,membership to help us become healthier and more active-by the improvement of our diets,exercise-and hopefully interaction/communication with other community/group members of SP. We are interested in Sports,Traveling,History,Travel and good friendships-as well as serving our Heavenly Father. We would be most happy to hear from other in the SP community,as well as contribute ourselves-by involvement with posts with the Forums we belong to at SP.
