Thanks WONGERCHI, I appreciate that. I am trying to measure myself and not rely to much on the scales. I learned a big lesson on not eating to much. I have GERD, and the other night I ate way to much. I woke up the next morning and I told my wife she may have to take me to the hospital. I felt like I was having a heart attack. I definitely ain't eating that much anymore. A definite lesson learned.
Good luck on your resolutions and weightloss. You can do anything you set your mind to. Have a great day.

Great thread, wish I'd seen it sooner - everyone has great resolutions! Mine is to do an Olympic distance triathlon - I've already signed up for one at the beginning of August. So here's to training for that 1500m swim, 40k bike and 10k run!
Lee: Don't worry about the week to week weight loss man. You know what you did and what you didn't do and can fix it - just eat right, exercise and don't fixate on the number, it'll go down in time. Have you tried using body measurements as well to track your weight loss? As you lose fat and gain muscle, your weight won't change much but you'll lose those inches!

Thanks, I appreciate that. This week was not a good week for me. I gained 2 pounds. The good thing is I know what I did and didn't do and I will correct it this week and hopefully I will have a loss. Have a great day.

Since my move in July I have put way too much weight back on. Now with another move looming on the horizon, I'm dedicated to making sure I not only do not gain any more weight but also get back down to where I had been previously. I will attempt to get back down to about 160. Once there I'm going to focus on toning up the excess skin and building more muscle so I can hide the fat better.
Good luck to all on your journeys!!!!

| I started rock climbing in November and plan on taking some adavanced classes when I have built up the forearm strength. I fell off the wagon starting a few months ago when my wife and I learned she was with child. Follow that with the holidays and I gained back near 8lbs in 10 weeks! Want to get below 200lbs again before May when I go on my last two week camping trip before I am a father. There are some ruins about 18 miles away from where we camp we have never been to.

| My goals are to get to 200, which means I would have to lose about 102 pounds. I don't know if that is to aggressive or not, but I'm sure going to try, also to go back to school and to get a better job that will support me and my wife.

Well after starting out great in the spring of 2006, I fell off the wagon. We moved to a brand new house, miserable experience (moving), had 3 new grandbabies and a new nephew, and starting a longer commute to and from work. I started at 237, went to 217, and now I am at 220. My goal is to reach 200, something that I haven't been at since college.

My goals for 2007 are pretty basic. I want to continue on the rocky journey of loosing weight and becoming healthier. To get below 250 will be a milestone I haven't seen in years, and I need to make it happen before we go to the OBX over the July 4th. If it happens, I am getting the tattoo I want and also signing up for some surfing lessons.
With the right perspective, I think we are all unstoppable in 2007!

I'm sure many people have challenges/goals/resolutions for the new year. Anyone wanna share?
I've got my black belt test coming up this summer and want to get in better cardio shape for it. I plan on working out 5-6 days per week for a total of 10-20 hours per week. Looking to drop my total body fat to around 12-15%.
