| I used to play rugby in college for our club team. I still love the sport and I'll watch when I have time.

Also love playing Rugby, but their are no teams in the town I currently live in to play for.
I also a front rower playing mostly at hooker Surprise surprise). Looking forward to the world cup but I not so confident the Wallabies are going to kick arse in France.
I think France stands a good chance this year.

| I love playing and watching rugby, then again I have to, I'm from New Zealand and its our national sport. Watch the all blacks kick ass in this years world cup. I'm not playing this year, moved town, everything kinda up in the air but looking forward to getting back into it. I was/am a hooker. Good to see everyone here is forwards, we all know that we're the ones who do the real work on the field, even if we aren't always the ones scoring the tries

| Hey! I love to play Rugby too! I'm also a Prop, and sometimes a lock. I missed a lot of this spring season due to a fun little concussion, but I'm prolly gonna do a bit of sevens this summer. Even though my boyfriend HATES it. Anything that involves drinking or injury is not good with him. ;-)

| I used to play with a team when I lived in London - hurt my shoulder and that put an end to that. Since I've been back in the states I've been to several matches and tournaments to support the San Francisco Fog. They're mostly a group of drinkers with a rugby problem but all in all it can be a fun day out.

| One of my roomates last year was on our Rugby team. Plus I'm an EMT so we'd take an Ambulance down to the games and wait around for one of em to get hit just a little too hard. Good sport.. but never would I participate.

| man, i miss the hell out of rugby. i was a prop (though i am really way too short to be a prop - i'm only 5'6" - but too big to be anything but). once i get back in running shape i am going to check out a couple teams in the city.

Thanks for the reply! I'm using Spark to try to get lighter and fitter. Once that happens, maybe I can look for a team. I miss scrums!

| Hey! Also a prop, I play for the Brown women and I'm using Spark people to keep track of calories over the winter break and stay in shape for spring rugby. I also play hooker and flanker. Nice to meet a fellow forward. :)

I used to play, back in my Royal Navy days, but now I'm older, heavier, slower and there's no team in my Pennsylvania hometown.
I used to play 2nd row too.

Hey, I'm a prop too! And whatever other position my team needs me to play, but mostly prop.
I took a year off from playing because of the job I had conflicted with practice and game times, but I'm looking forward to starting to play again in the spring.

| I have been playing rugby for 3 seasons at Umass Lowell although we are a club sport we have 2 hr practices 4 days a week.....I joined spark people in part to be in better shape for rugby which starts up again mid january....I am a prop which means I hold up a bunch of people, tackle then try to run as fast as I can to keep up with the backs....anyways curious to see if there are any other rugby players out there....I have seen topics for football...although i must say football is fun to watch since I play rugby but I still think rugby is way more fun to watch...but of course I am biased!
