To those of you who put BODY parts as your ideal woman... I am LMAO... how shallow are ya??? Ya see Shallow Hal? Nothing against physical beauty... like it myself, but come on... grow up! :)

| This is the worst place to say this though I like BIG women. I have caught so much hell here for saying that. Like I am purposely going after women that are hurting and they are big or something. No one can ever just take into account that big is really beautiful at times. A strong will and laughter and good work ethic are great traits as well. Then again I just like women, though big has always been cool then again i am 7ft tall and was like 550lb, guess I just did not want to break a barbie. :)

Whats with all the wife comments. My ideal woman would turn 21 every year morph body shapes and breast sizes, bum sizes, and hair length/colour, just to keep it interesting. Organize the house, ie tell the maid what to do and the gardener, also the cook. Don't want my ideal girl to wear out.
Keep fit, love sports. OH have a built in fat reducing mechanism she could ue on me. Know recipies for weight loss hot dogs, pies and chips.

As far as a complete package goes, I could do far worse than my wife. The question is this, though - as far as "ideal" goes, there's "ideal" as a complete package and "ideal" as far as aspects of a woman. We all do some things very well but other things poorly. So, since I can be as picky as I want for this thread, let's see...
Intelligence: I like an intelligent woman, or at least one who can learn. Take Drew Barrymore's character on family Guy (Brian's ditzy girlfriend) and take her exact opposite. I wouldn't want someone who would make me feel stupid, but I wouldn't want someone who has to ask me the definition of every other word I use.
Appearance: Somewhere between Beyonce and Queen Latifah. Actually, as far as demeanor goes, I offer the same answer.
Interests: Anyone who says hockey is stupid is disqualified. Anyone who gets more into the game than me might take me aback at first but could be a lot of fun.
Personality: Brutally honest is fine. Brutality without honesty is a big turn-off. An uptight manners Nazi is a huge turn-off.
Values: I can't stand people who refuse to debate. I also can't stand people who are so religious that anything that falls outside their narrow beliefs is unacceptable. Also, I would not cheat - anyone who does is out.
Confidence: An unspoken confidence is incredibly sexy. An in-your-face confidence is not. A complete lack of confidence is just as bad. Saying "I know I'm ugly" with a smile is OK. Saying it in dead seriousness and refusing to take a compliment is not.
Sorry I don't have any parallels besides appearance. And sorry that my answer is not "my wife"...more like "my wife with a little coaching and fine-tuning that I myself could probably use."

Well ... since Jessica Alba isn't available/attainable ... and I'm already married ... I'd have to say ... my wife! 
My wife and I met at college, but didn't really start dating or "going out" until after college ... when we lived an hour away from each other. So, we talked on the phone a lot!
Besides being nice to look at (I think she has beautiful blue eyes), it was her personality that attracted me. Her personality makeup is (in no particular order) kinda feisty, opinionated, funny, sensitive, traditional, smart, understanding, forgiving, empathetic and intriguing.
I *knew* she was "the one" because even her flaws didn't matter, and she made me feel ok about mine, and I wanted to be a better person for her.

the confidence on herself and her ability to do things;
she is smart and can hold a conversation;
she is not a pushover, if she thinks you are wrong she will tell you;
she has the ability to understand me and my moods so she adapts well to changes;
she is down to Earth, she is so real it is incredible;
she is also beautiful, eyes, voice, and before the babies came she had a terrific body, I don't care if she doesn't look like she did 10 years a go. We are way past looks now.
She is really my better half.

| This is funny that my first post to a message board is "what is the ideal woman" We were talking about this tonight at work, do woman really go for the "10" and visa versa. 4 women 3 men discussing this. It came to the conclusion that yes you are attracted to the opposite sex by physical looks, but thos elooks take a back seat to a damn good personality. My perspective is I am looking for my best friend to spend my life with, someone who likes to do some of the same things I do, has the same sense of humor, is able to have long discussions about anything and nothing. This woman would be the first person I would share good news with, and the last person I would want to disappoint. She would love the physical part of our life as well, and being best friends as well as lovers opens up the door to communicate wants, needs, and desires between the two of us. That person would also be active physically as well as in her own life, I am not saying she is a Barbie, but she is comfortable where she is or where she is headed. She takes pride in herself, in her life, and brings it all to the relationship to help it build stronger. If all of that could be rolled into one woman, that, in my opinion, would be the ideal woman.

| What a tough question. I've got to say that someone who cares about me is one of the most important things to me. I have to be physically attracted somewhat as well. But I've found that if I talk to someone and get to know them better, if I like their personality, they become more physically attractive no matter what they look like.

I gotta say that, after having looked pretty hard for the perfect woman for about 31 years of my life, all over most of the known world that I am currently living with her (grin). Truly, If I had been allowed the opportunity by a benevolent providence to hand-design the woman who was perfect for me I don't suspect that I would have changed much about her at all.
This woman is very bright, well educated, funny, a talented comedic stage actress(amateur local theatrics), very active, bellydances as a hobby, Hunts and fishes, Loves horses, trains dogs for the obedience ring and appears to adore me (well, judgement might be a bit off ) . She even laughs at my jokes. What more could a fella want?
Color me a very blessed man.

I would definately say one of the first things that catches me with a woman, is eyes. That's what caught my attention with my fiancee.
However, after dating the models/dancers who are less then intellegent, I'd certainly have to say smarts. She needs to be smart, and strong. She needs to be willing to go the mile, and just not give up when it gets rough. That's important to me.
Most important, she needs to be herself, regardless of what I think and feel. My fiancee is like that too... it drives me up the wall sometimes, but I know when she's says/does something... She really means it, and that's a good feeling to have.

To me it would be someone who gives (as well as recieves) unconditional love, is slightly extroverted, adventurous, and though a perfect body isn't at all necessary, someone who's physically active.
