The contestants are given a category like, I think "Tom Cruise movies" was one of them when I watched. There are 2 teams of 2 contestants who now "bid" on how many they can name. So one team says we can name 8, next team may say we can do 10. Back and forth until one team tells the other to name them. If they name them then they win the point, if not the other team gets the point. I think they do 2 out of 3.
The team that gets 2 lists/points then goes to the money round. They are given another list but this time they start at 1 and just name as many as they can, every 3 they get some dollar amount. After each dollar amount the team can choose to continue trying to make more, but if they miss one they loose all money. Or they can stop and keep that amount.
Not the most exciting, but I liked seeing how many I could guess from their lists. Also cool because after the money round that team went up against the next team. So in theory a team could go many, many times to the money round. There is no limit on the winnings.
Whatever the case I guess it's been cancelled.

| I don't think I've seen that one.

| I saw the first episode of the richlist. I just looked today to see when it would be on again and I guess it's already been cancelled.

I've seen it a few times. It was interesting when Ken Jennings (the famous Jeopardy champion was sent home!

| I find 1 vs 100, or 1 against 100, whatever its called, to be a pretty interesting game. Has anybody else seen it?

| True, John. It's funny to watch the contestants on that show to see how far along the contestants go in the game while their families are sometimes yelling at them to stop while they're ahead!

| I've never really been into game shows, but Deal or No Deal is very compelling, for the reason you stated, John.

| Game shows are a lot more fun toi watch for the reactions of the contestants than the actual contest. Howie Mandel's new show "Deal or No Deal" is great to watch as the contestant's greed overpowers his good sense and he goes from a guaranteed $250,000.00 to $750.00 and tries to act happy about it.

| I never watch Game Shows as I agree, they are rigged!

The guy answered the question correctly.
The $125,000 question was "Who was the first African American mayor of Chicago?".
The $500,000 question was "Whose voice was dubbed in as the singing voice for Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady?"
I wonder how they put dollar values on questions.

Can I get the 1/4 million please!!! I know the answer!
Seriously, if someone DIDN'T know that answer, they should never have reached that point in the show. Maybe the show's producers were worried about declining contestant IQ.

I watched a re-run of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" last night.
Here was the $250,000 question:
Which planet is known for having a giant red spot?
I thought this was a rather easy question for the $250,000 point. Do you agree or disagree?
