| Found out today that i have appointed lawyer finally after continuing my case. I have been really stressed over not getting the money for a lawyer. ( $25,000) for council. I finally got notice of him appointed to my case. Then , I found out also today that my mother after having breast cancer 20 years ago she has a new lump in her chest were her scar is and she is really scared and upset andmy father hit a high point in his blood pressure and his eyes are blood shot.. I talked with them over 2 hours on the phone...

A great way of putting it.
Before he promoted an officer to be a general, Napoleon used to ask "Is he lucky?" - acknowledging that some things are beyond our direct control, but we also have a role in creating our luck.

You hit it on the head, Tamarin.
"Luck is when preparation meets opportunity".
Is this to say that we can set goals for each day, or is that vision much larger than that? We can make choices about the food we eat. Hence, if they're healthy choices, and we have set a goal of eating healther, then we have made a small step towards that goal.

Not sure if this is what you meant, but I always subscribe to the adage "Luck is when preparation meets oppotunity".
Some people seem to have lots of "good luck" while others... well, not as much. To me luck is thinking ahead about what you want to happen. You don't even have to do anything about it. Just have a clear vision of what you want.
Everyday we are faced with dozens of choices about our attitude, our choice of words, where to eat lunch, etc. If you know in your mind what you would like to happen then every one of those choices will be influenced by that vision, even if its not in your conscious mind. Add up enough of those small decisions and it leads you to your goal. Of course, we don't recognize all the things that went into it, we just see those things we expected to happen, happening.
