Hey guys, One thing I have learned is that lots of places have the nutritional info for the food they serve but you have to ask for it. Sometimes they look at you like your crazy or they dont know what your talking about but if you are a little persistant. Just ask for the manager. I have ordered off these charts instead of the regular menu. The things you find out can be a little shocking.

Most of the U.S. restaurants have it listed on their websites. But it would be nice to have them listed IN the restaurants.

I guess in your case, oyu'd go to your MP. (I think you have a parlament up there right?) and tell them I want to get nutritional information from restaurants. Some of the larger chain restaurants might have that info available as well. Just ask.

I wonder what it would take to get restaurants to start listing nuttritional value of the food they serve. I would love to be able to see calories, fat, fiber etc etc ...

I know for the US or parts of it, there is legislation being passed to get restaurants to do this ... I would love to see this in canada too.

So how would one get this going?
