Ahhhh I got a little high today :)

On the bike for 50minutes. 15miles. A great workout for me right now. After I got going for awhile and my hear rate got up it became like the natural state for my body to be in. It was wonderful. I was breathing hard sweating all that good stuff but was as relaxed as if I were reclining in a lazy boy ;). Boy am I going to sleep good tonight.

I get a high from my workouts. Maybe it's accomplishment of pushing up that weight 1 or two more times than you though you could. Maybe it's doing more crunches in a day than you did all of last year. For me, after a good workout, I just get a rush that's almost indescribable. It's easily one of the funnest things I do with my clothes on.

I work out on an empty stomach all the time - I know I shouldn't but working out in the am my time is tight, and I never get it then. Sometimes I'll get the euphoric feeling on the weekends after I have had a long workout on a full stomach - it's one of the things I actually enjoy most about my weekend workouts.

Oh man Mick, do I understand where you are coming from! If you're just eating some fruit and then having a hard workout, you could be feeling high because you don't have enough food for your poor body. Also, there's a thing called "runners high" that athletes get after a particularly hard workout. (I kinda like the 'high' so I like working out on less food then I probably should. I also like doing 'blood, sweat, tears' workouts every once in awhile just to see how hard I can push myself.) Whatever keeps you going - right?

Anyone feel like they are high sometimes after eating some fruit and exercising? unless someone is lacing my apples...
