Thanks for the vote of confidence...I just got home from my daily walk.. I walk somewhere around 5-6 miles and to think a few months ago I could not put one foot in front of the other and stand up..lol.So while I was out walking I walked out to my Dr office and got on the scales. I am down another pound this week.WOOHOO!! Nothing like tooting my own trumpet. That makes me down 194 all together and down 114 since surgery last June 6th..OH MY TODAY IS MY NEW BIRTHDAY..LOL. lIFE IS GRAND!!
I wish you lots of luck in your weight loss journey, although we know it isn't luck it is work and determination!! Hang in there it will happen!!

congrat on the weigth loss. I thought about the bypass surgery but thougth I would give the diet thing another try...so far so good I have lost a total of 8 ins off the waist in the last 3 months im on a low carb and watching my fat intake. If this doent work I may have the surgery. Wish u the best in getting to your goal.

 AWESOME!! Isn't it great to be the smaller version of oneself?? I have recently lost over 1/2 of me and feeling pretty darn good about it too!! lol..am smaller than I have ever been, even in high school.I am in the midwest..Illinois to be exact. Nice to meet you. And thanks for allowing me into the guys message board.

I am hoping that it is okay to stop by the guys lounge. I have not been a sparkpeople member long and have recently moved back to Illinois from Maine. Looking for some interesting friends along my journey to getting healthier. I have also lost over 100#'s in the past 11 months and am almost at goal. Would love a guy or two to chat with. Any takers on here?
