| I dont drink the sport drinks because I dont want the calories but do drink 2-3 sugar free energy drinks a week. 0 calories but lots of caffine. I like diet Rockstar.

Time for a OT cool idea:
Vending machines at the gym that have water, milk, bananas, etc.

The sugar free energy drinks are so-so for you. I admit, I drink them, but there are better things for you. The main problem is the caffine and sodium. If you drink plenty of water as well it's not horrible for you.
Milk is GREAT for you, but harder to "transport". In other words, you have to have to have a cooler or some place cold to keep it from spoiling.

| I heard that regular milk is just as good at resupplying the body as Gatorade. I don't remember where I gathered that information, but it might be worth doing a Google search tonight to find out.

I wouldn't say that sports drinks are better for you, but they have their advantages. water is truly the best option. However, sports drinks (gatorade, powerade, etc) offer electrolytes and other hydration benefits when used along with water. The hardest thing is so many claim to be good for you, but have too many sugars. Check the labels for ingredients, I'm sure you'll find some good ones. Gatorade has Propel Water, I like that the best.

Okay - so what's true and what's just hype? If I'm really sweating, are they 'better' than water at refreshing me? Or are they at least as effective (but sometimes tastier) as water? Any info would really be appreciated.
