Hi ya
just joined spark 2 weeks ago and only been posting messages for 2 days .
I am from the UK and love playing golf when i can but need to get loads better .
Have not been able to play for months due to a back injury .
Best shot - When i have one i'll let you know .:-)
Worst shot - all of them .
i think my best round would have been 120 something like that .
its great to see people from all walks of life on this site and i am really happy to have found it .

I think the best shot I ever hit was on a par 3 about 200 yrds, and I put it 3 ft from the cup.
Worst shot was every other one that day. I have played 2 times this year and it was very ugly. I also shoot around 100, would love to hit around 90.

Best shot: About 6 years ago at Balboa GC. I sank a 25 ft putt I had no business sinking. I hit it a little harder than I thought I needed to, it followed the grain into the cup. If you asked me to do it again, It'd take me about an hour to read the breaks right and sink it.
Worst shot: (Actually a series of three) playing with my father in law I couldn't clear a lake and left two balls in it dead center and skipped a third one onto the other side. I think I shot a 9 on that hole.

| lol...that was "back in the day" when I was playing 3-4 days per week and practicing 6 days a week. Plus, playing in college tournaments on a weekly basis. When all you do is play golf and work at a golf course you can get pretty good. =)

| 65 - wow, i've shot that on the front 9 - i'm right around 100 now (25.4 index) my goal is to break 90 this summer.

I can't eally recall a "best shot" cuz I have lots of favorites. One that comes to mind was in a team skins game. My partner and I were about 40 yards out on a par 4, our opponents had stuck their second shot real close. My partner says "man we need to get this close". I responded by saying don't worry, I'll just knock it in.....needles to say, I knocked it in a for a two. We followed it with an eagle on the next hole, and I chipped in two more times in the same round.
Worst shot....I've been playing for more than half my life and couldn't tell you my "worst" shot. I forget them after I hit them.
Best round...65 (-7)

Best shot -- was playing on a course a day before a tournament and the course was very empty the afternoon I was playing. It was just me and friend in the cart and we were playing very quickly. On a par 4, had about 150 yards to the pin and hit it within 6 inches of the pin. Next hole, I chipped in from about 25 yards....certainly best round of my life.
Worst Shot -- at a company scramble with some senior people in the firm -- I was playing with some guys that could really hit the ball a long ways (not very good golfers, but could really drive the ball). Well, you had to take at least one (or two) drives from each person. Since I normally don't hit very far, they had taken all the other drives until the last hole. So the pressure was on me to hit a good drive as we were in good position to contend for the tourney, well, I didn't get it past the ladies tees....ouch...

Best shot was a hole in one, 104 yard. 3 holes eagle on the same round I had an eagle - 360 yard par 4, My drive went into the rough of the fairway on the hole next to the one I was playing, I couldn't even see the green, my second shot was blind and it went in the hole.
Worst shot - every other shot that round other then the 3 above - I had an eagle and a hole in one on the same round and still shot a 97!

What is your all time best golf shot?
What is your all time worst golf shot?
My all time best shot would be on a 300 yd par 4, I hit the pin off the tee. I still have the ball with the red paint on it. I was scared I would miss my eagle putt though but I was probally 6 inches and sunk it for eagle.
My worst shot was on a Par 5 and I was hitting off the tee. It was a blind shot and I could not see any one ahead of me. I drove it and the next thing I saw was a guy walking up over a hill holding his shoulder where I hit him. I felt so bad that I couldnt play the rest of my round.
