| Guys need motivation for healthier living, too! This site gives that and the tools, trackers, articles, charts, graphs are great for accountablity and have the right info to make decisions. I've only been here for a few days and I love it. Everyone is positive (male and female). We're all in the same boat here. Good luck.

| The exercise menu wasn't working for me either. Create your own exercises in the menu and follow that plan.

| PETE, you can add lifting exercises and sets I think in the fitness tab somewhere. I set it up when I first joined about 6 months ago and have not really been back - I should do as I need to do at least a day of lifting to balance out my climbing muscles! And I tend to concentrate my gym time on cardio and racquet sports...

| I'm finding that I can't change the repetitions or sets as well. There is however, a hyperlink called "change" (located next to the days you selected for your exercise) that you can change up the program. Problem is that it will not retain the items you selected from day to day. I would say send up to SP any suggestions/comments you may have. The site itself has changed immensely since I was on it a year ago. They are very involved in keeping this program up.

| I am finding the Exercise settings don't reflect what I am doing in the gym, Is there an extended exercise menu to pick from anywhere?

Pete,
welcome to SP!!! It's always good to have another guy around here. Let us know if we can help with anything along the way.

| Yeah - for a while I thought me and two guys at work I know were the only men, last few weeks seems to be a fair amount of them that have joined. Regardless, all of the info seems to be gender neutral so makes no difference.

When my girlfriend first described sparkpeople to me I thought that this might be just for women. But I am glad to see this is for men too.
