Went to Church. Heard a great sermon. Came home and let the kids hunt for eggs. The fun is over. The inlaws are coming

Easter Vigil on Sat night for our family, then the hunt tomorrow is here.

Is anybody familiar with the European work week and holidays? Is it true that they would shut down during these Holy Days. That would be nice.

Just going to church and hanging out with the family.

Today, my wife, son and I went on a nice 3 mile run then a 40 minute walk through these really nice trails by our house.

I have arranged for an aide to stay with my Dad all day. Judy and I will attend church together and she doesn't have to play in the Orchestra so we'll get to sit together. Then we'll have a nice easy afternoon together. Later we're going to an Easter program at church. We both are really excited about it.

Nothing here. We don't have kids and don't really celebrate many holidays. I'll probably be up late tonight watching UFC on Pay-per-View, that means I'll be sleeping in tomorrow. =)

Yes! I am so looking forward to our Easter Sunday. Starting with Church and a nice low-cal breakfast of French Toast & syrup, turkey links, and tropical fruit medley, tea. Then, I will cook the Easter meal for my whole family. 3 of us are on SP, but 20 are expected (me, my husband, my 3 childeren and 2 son-in-laws, 2 grandchildren, my 4 sisters, their husbands, and children and significant others, and a few close friends - big gang!). On the menu is turkey, Prime Rib, Portebella Mushrooms (our recipe), sweet potatoe souffle, stuffing, brown rice, super-duper garden salad w/assorted dressings, fresh blueberry & strawberry cup with Cool Whip Lite, Diabetic Cake and Full Sheet Cake from Costco.

Snacks will be available from chips to chocolate, but for a 0 cal./0 carb. treat. . . try this.

Fill plastic eggs with questions for your guests to answer or tasks for them to do during dinner. Ideas could be: Recite your favorite poem or hug the person to your left, etc. Display it in an Easter Bowl and use as a table centerpiece. For SP people, the "treat" is watching everyone "do their thing."

And where are we doing all of this? At a popular Karaoke Room in Honolulu, Hawaii. God Bless you all and here's wishing you and your families a very Happy Easter season.

Anyone doing anything exciting for Easter?

We have a going away party for my brother-in-law who heads off to Iraq for his second tour next week, an egg hunt, a barbeque, and my father in law's birthday party all tomorrow. Sunday will be Church and yardwork day.
