If it's just a cold or not feeling 100% then I keep doing the exercise. If it goes deeper into my chest I hold off. I also make sure that if I start feeling tired or winded that I ease up or stop. Essentially, I keep going, but at a lighter pace.

Bart,
Yeah, that 50 lb mark was a hug thing for me. I started at 265 with a goal of 200 within a year. I remember every time I hit a new number...240s, 230s, 220s, etc. Getting under 200 was definitely the biggest though. I can't wait to see your new pic when you hit that 50 lb mark. =)

Thanks Matt but that 50# mark is so close I will wait till then. I can work on it in Photoshop and when I am ready I will have perfected it. It is not as much for me but to show other that after so many times failing you really can do it and that is a big thanks to Spark

B...40 lbs is definitely a big change, I'm sure MOST people notice it in you. The hardest thing can be finding two photos that seem so extreme. The before picture I have really is an awful picture. I could have picked a different one, but I wanted to show somthing dramatic.
Maybe instead of Before/After you could do something with Before/During.....or Before/Current....or even put the Before, but then leave a black spot for the "After" once you've accomplished it.
I would say to do what YOU'RE comfortable with. If you don't think you've changed enough then worry about it. But, 40 lbs is enough to show some difference if you decide.
Let me know if you need any help! =)

Yeh, I'm loving SP so far... I've been doing it for almost 3 weeks... in my first week I lost 2kgs, in my second week I lost 1kgs!
And.. I just feel fantastic...
When I reach somewhere towards my target weight (90kgs) I will put up a before and after!
Only 13 more kgs to go!

Tim,
Thanks!!! I did the before and after so people can see that SP really works. They have my wife's and my picture in the success story area, but not everyone makes it in there. This way anyone who I can talk with or help gets to see how well SP works! =)

Good thinking with the joining the pictures together... and congrats on the amazing transformation!!

Sparkpeople doesn't have any way to edit photos. I used Photoshop to cut, zoom, and paste a couple photos together, save as one image and upload. =)

I know - there are no stupid questions - except this one...
How do you prepare and post those before and after photos? Do you prepare them separately in another program or is there a way to do it here on sparkpeople.com?
