Best free online game I can think of is America's Army. It is a first person shooter but much more realistic than many of the other you find out there.
It is put out free by the US Army. Good graphics and alot of fun.

If you're looking for a non hack-and-slash RPG, I play Federation 2. (www.ibgames.net) It's a great 100% Custom Mud which I think is more the kind of game you were discussing.

| I found carnageblender to be a fun free online game. Granted it's not graphically driven, but the numbers game and stratagy can be entertaining for awhile. The biggest downside is it seems to embrace a younger demographic in a protective sense so if you are looking for a more mature crowd to game with it probably wouldn't be your best bet.

Anyone play free RPG online games like Conquest? I liked conquestonline and still play it occassionally but after awhile it gets kind of boaring. I am looking for something a little more then Hack and slash where you need to think a little. I hate to pay allot for games because I tend to get board after a little while. Well let me know if of anymore good ones out there and I will check them out.
