| I've been eating flax seed just about everyday for the past 2 years. Tons of Omega 3s as well as a huge amount of fiber. If you're looking for an easy way to work this into your diet, try adding a table spoon (of flax meal) to a 1/2 cup of oatmeal. I normally eat this with yogurt on top (an old Coach JoeD concoction). Two good SP articles Flaxseed: Plant Powerhouse and Facts on Flax.

| Yeah, I'll probably just buy off the Internet next time. Whenever I go to Whole Foods, I end up spending obscene amounts of money. Anyway, bought something called Barlean's Forti-Flax; this should go nicely with my vanilla O'Soy yogurt. Combined, they're 220 calories though.

Worst case, you can find this stuff easily on the internet.
At my local grocery, I found it in the aisle containing flour and cornmeal.

| Blah, I can't find this stuff anywhere. Checked two PathMarks and a Shop Rite so far. I guess I'll have to make the trip to Whole Foods.

Hmm, looking at the nutritional makeup of it, it seems like it could be very useful to me. High in fats + protein, but low in carbs. I eat so much fruit that I usually end up with like 65% of my food intake for a day being carbs. I get enough protein, but definitely not enough fats.
Maybe I'll buy some and try mixing it in with the Egg Beaters that I use for my morning egg & muffin sandwich.
P.S. The Egg and Muffin Toaster is the greatest thing ever invented.

Gents
I just tried a tbs of flax meal in my yogurt and was pleasantly surprised that something so good could be tolerable.
FYI, it's not bad. I had to look hard for it. Our local grocery didn't carry it, but the Lowe's Foods a few miles away does.
