Had to jump in here - there is an excellent book/test out there called the 5 love languages. We all (male and female) feel love in different ways and to show the one you love that you love them, you have to know what language they speak... 1. touch 2. words of affirmation 3. gifts 4. acts of service 5. spending quality time together
If you are speaking your language but not hers - your acts are futile. That's why you may be trying your darndest, but they just aren't feeling it!

I will never give up No matter what the odds are No matter what people say No matter how far I will never give up
If I throw it away time after time If I am one step behind try after try If I miss dime after dime I will never give up
Even when it seems all over Even when no one else believes Even when it seems I can go no further I will never give up
For I know I have strength within For I know I can persevere For I know that I can win I will never give up
Because it's someone else's fault Because I am settling for good enough Because I fear that I will fall short I will never give up
There is so much I can still do There is too much talent to waste There is so much in me that I want you to see I will never give up
Why squander all of my hard work and dedication Why not show the world that I am a fearless baller Why quit when I still have the oppo rtunity to go on I will never give up
If I do, I will not be the best me that could live If I do, I will never know what I am capable of If I do, I am not giving the world all I can give I will never give up

| interesting conversation. Being a girl, I'm a little different, BUT I find it interesting how hard one person can be working to show their love and the other still doesn't feel loved. strange....

Sure are a lot of happy guys out there. I've been burned so many times I don't even believe in it any more. Love is just a chemical reaction in your brain just like the high from a drug. If I "love" someone it has absolutely no effect on the other person. That person has to be getting high off of me too or it's all one sided and really sad and pathetic.
Instead of asking what you do to show your wife you love her, you should be asking what your do to thank her for loving you.

I hope you don't mind me making a comment. I'm interested in how you guys answer this one. Being a woman who neither is married or has a boyfriend right now, I'd like to think there's something good to look forward to... =)

Alot of the little things. Make a nice dinner out of the blue, do some cleaning without being asked, small gifts here and there, flowers, the back/neck/foot rub after work, just spending time together doing whatever, but mainly being there when she needs me, and telling her multiple times a day.
