My something "Old" & "Borrowed" will be the same item....my Maternal Grandmothers wedding ring. I'm not sure if I will wear on my hand since she has much bigger fingers than I do, but I may have it attached to my bouquet or sewn into my dress pocket (yes, my dress have a hidden pocket!)

A family friend has offered to lend me her veil as something borrowed. I thought that was so nice! I'm not sure yet if the veil will go with my dress ...

My something borrowed is ivy from my fiance's grandmother's garden. It's a tradition on his side of the family that the bride has ivy from the mom or grandmother's garden in their bouquet. My something blue is the lacing and ribbons on my dress, something new is the Celtic cross necklace that will be wrapped around the stem of my bouquet, and the something old I'm not really sure about. Maybe something to do with the unity candle ceremony. I want everything to have some sort of signifigance.

Handkerchief! Thanks! I will ask my Mom's Aunt to borrow my great grandmother's from her wedding!

Is there a purse, or mirror, or a hankerchief, or pin (brooch) that someone can lend you?
My sister is lending me her tiara.

I still don't have anything- I want it to be meaningful and not just something I have for the tradition...ahh I'm freaking out I don't have much time left!

Hmmm? I haven't quite figured this out either. My garter is blue. My dress is new. I don't have anything old either.
Oh wait , yeah my florist is called Something Borrowed because you can borrow from her inventory. Wow I spaced on that one.

Funny, I haven't even thought about that! We're really not doing traditional things at our wedding so I hadn't even thought about that one!

On the wedding forum I participate in, we pass a starfish bouquet jewel to each other for our "something borrowed." bestdestinationwedding.com/forum/index.php?referrerid=1808
I'm also borrowing a friend's veil.

I borrowed a couple pretty jeweled hairpins from each of my sisters. It made my hair sparkly!

My veil is borrowed from a friend of the family who kept her veil. It is lovely!

A piece of jewelry is always good to borrow.
I'm not sure what I am going to borrow though. I've already picked out all my jewelry. If worse comes to worse, I will ask someone for a dollar and tuck it into my garter!

What is everyone using for their "something borrowed?" I have old, new, and blue, but I can't figure out what I want to borrow!
