I wore my hair up with curls and a tiara! I definately felt like a princess. I actually found my hair style from this site after looking all over the web: http://www.wnok.com/pages/theweddingspot.html
There are some good hairstyles in there as well as cakes!
However, you can't go wrong with a Carrie Underwood hairstyle!!

I typically wear my hair down because it just doesn't work for me to have it up. It looks ok with a head band, but that's about it. I don't know if it's my face shape or my hair or what, but it's not pretty! lol It does look good curly, thankfully, so I'm sure I'll be able to get away with having it half up half down for my big day. At least I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I will!

Hey JENNIFERPENA,

I hear you about having a round face. I don't an updo suits me either. My fiance keeps telling me that he doesn't want me to wear make up and he always makes negative comments about make up. I think that if you can even out your skin tone, and go a little more neutral, you can still look great, but not overdone.

I want a veil, but it will be anchored under my hair...still haven't figured out how I'm going to make it work. :D

If you are attaching your veil to your hair by a comb, do you have to wear at least part of it up?
Hmmmm.....

For me I think it will be 1/2 up 1/2 down. The reason is because I need something to keep a tiara in place and to keep hair out of my face for the big day.

My hair is fairly long but I was told that too many girls make themselves look too much unlike themselves on their wedding day. For instance, I don't wear makeup hardly ever, so it wouldn't make sense for me to cake on makeup for my wedding. Likewise, I rarely ever wear my hair up outside of work. I read numerous times to be you, just a little more glamorous.

I'm going to pull just about two or three inches of hair on top back and back combing a little so that I can anchor my veil. The rest we are curling. It's simple but pretty and it's me!

Plus my face is too round for an up do. lol

I wanted to have my hair down and curly, but my hair hasn't grown enough and my wedding is in 59 DAYS!!! =D

Anyway, my hair hasn't grown enough its just barely below my shoulders and if it was curled it'd be above my shoulders, and well I really want LONG hair, so I just decided on an updo. I want some hair down to frame my face, and I'm gonna wear a tiara and then I was thinkin something like this:

I guess if that link doesn't work copy and paste?? idk

Anyway, and then I can put the veil under my hair like in this pic.

i'm letting my hair grow some over the summer. i kind-of like the half up/half down hairstyle...still haven't completely decided yet, though.

I have a strapless dress, low cut in the back...I am going to have it all down, it is going to be curled with a 1 1/2 inch barrel, all the way around. The very front is going to be slightly pinned back with a sparkly bobby pin. Pretty basic, I don't want an up-do, too much work and my fiance loves my long hair. (it's long, but it's still short enough to where you can see my back and shoulders still. good luck!

My hair is just below my shoulders. I am getting married in the courthouse and was thinking of curling it and using either a while fabric headband or a wire headband with "diamonds".

I think I'm going to go with a very loose all up do. I have to experiement with the hair dresser in May. I'm going to bring in pictures of how I don't want my hair to look as well as things I like :)

I'm probably going to do the half up/half down thing too. I used to have my hair really short (like 3 inches on top), but I've been letting it grow out for almost a year now just for the wedding! I've got 6 months to get a little more length so that I can have it pinned up. Does that make any sense?!

I was just curious as to how everyone is wearing their hair for the big day. I'm pretty sure I'm wearing mine half up, half down like Carrie Underwood does hers a lot. I love her, and the hair-do is perfect for me.
