Thanks for all the fabulous ideas. I will have to price out the options and see what I can do. With 50+ baskets to fill, it adds up FAST. I at least now have some ideas!

| My fiance are also doing something like this. We are having a family and friends carribean cruise the week of the wedding then docking in Jamaica and getting married in the gardens there. We had the idea of putting thank you bags in everyone's cabin on the cruise. Ideas I came up with are: bottled water with personalized labels (if the cruise security will let us bring them), carribean treats, sunscreen, cruise itinerary, tips/ excursions for each of the ports we will dock in and personalized thank you notes. I'm always looking online for different ideas so this has really helped me on here.

| We are thinking of doing the same thing and our wedding is in October. We are thinking of doing little bags of the peanut/candy corn mix. Along with other things. If you can get the hotel to print you a list of everyone staying there, that is nice for people to have too, for sharing rides and things like that. GOOD LUCK!

-packs of tissues -homemade cookies -CD's of the wedding music -Mini bottles of wine (you could buy the four packs and split them, or get personalized ones, we found a website from a winery in FL that only charges $75 per case of 25. They even customize the lables: http://www.muriellewinery.com/pictures.htm) -Deck of cards or dice (I was thinking for drinking games on the dice, depends on the crowd I suppose!!)

I like the idea of things to do. There are usually weekend festivals and such in surrounding cities and fabulous shops and cafes in town right by the hotel. That is something that won't cost anything!
I would like to do an idea of flipflops but we have about 50 or so baskets to fill and I think that would be too expensive. Great idea though!
Thanks ladies!

| I don't know how well you know the town, but maybe your personal recommendations for things to do. In addition to the guide books, you can write out a few things that you have done and enjoyed, including favorite restaurants and shops.

| You could put flip flops in the basket. And make sure the snacks you include are regional. So that your guests really get the flavor of your town.

For our wedding my fiance & I are making Thank You Baskets to put in the hotel rooms of the people traveling from out of town. About 3/4 of our guests are out of town guests. I have the baskets purchased but am having trouble thinking of what to put in them, that isn't too expensive. This is what I have so far: -Personal thank you note -weekend itinerary/maps -brochures (the town is very touristy) -bottled water -individual bags of munchies like chips/crackers
Any other ideas of what you might like to see in your hotel room basket? Microwave Popcorn, candy??
