| not sure what they can do to alter it. I wasn't planning on having a fitting with the seamstress until April or May. Hopefully by then it won't be as much of a crisis!

| Good point u know I never thought of anything like that! You will have to take your maid of honour to the toilet with u and try not to drink too much!I'm sure you will lose the weight we all going up and down especially near our periods try not to worry too much. Can they alter it at all?

| My dress has a corset back, but it was still so tight that the piece of fabric behind the laces didn't cover my back! I did double check and the store did order the right size. As for slimming undergarments, i've heard that Spanx are amazing. I know they have one style that is like underpants that go all the way up under your bra that are very slimmer. But i wonder how you use the washroom with them. I can't be undoing my corset my dress everytime!

God what a nightmare! that is far in advance to order your dress! they told me 12 weeks and I live in england and it's an american designer. Good luck I'm sure u will lose the weight!you still have a good 5 months and not alot to lose. Have u ordered a corset or basque? and tried the dress on with that because that can hold u in a bit all in the right places,and u can get special slimming ones.

| I'm also a July bride. Getting married on July 25th. I ordered my dress in October because I was told it would take 4-6 months to come in. I wasn't very disciplined over the holidays with my food & exercise. I got a call 2 weeks ago that my dress was in and did i want to set up a fitting. No way! I have some weight to loose! but i wanted to at least see the dress & try it on to be sure they ordered the right size, color, etc. To my horror it wouldn't close! apparently since October I gained 2" in my bust & 1.5" in my waist! So now i am on diet & exercise Red Alert. I've been doing the south beach Diet phase 1 for the last 8 days and I went to a personal trainer for exercise advice. THIS DRESS WILL FIT!!!

| Got measured for my dress the other day can't believe i came up three different sizes 14 on top (bust)20 in the middle (tummy) and 16 bottom (hips)so now gonna have to have it taken in alot already, told the assistant that i want to lose weight and said i shouldn't try to lose too much coz the dress will be too big, and they would need to order a new one! Already needs taking in about 4 inches round the bust and five round the hips. Just want to lose my baby jelly belly!

| Hello fellow July brides! I am getting married on July 12th (that could change if we cannot get the church!) I would love to wait until fall but mine and my fiancees job won't allow it. We work in the restaurant business and fall is our busiest time of the year. So, I have some weight to lose and less time to do it in!!! I am more worried about losing the weight than anything else. I want so badly to love how I look in my wedding pictures! I am so glad that I found SP, it has really motivated me and I am thrilled to have found other July brides! Best of luck to us all!!

wow! i'm getting married on july 19th also.
i cant wait! so much to do though. I need motivation as well. I'm trying to loose about 25 to 30 pounds before the wedding. good luck ladies :)

How have you been dealing with all of the showers and pre wedding parties? Mine have already started and its hard.Plus my Birthday is in February.

Hi
I don't have that much to loose but I want to be thin and toned from my wedding on July 5th 2008. If someone wants a motivation buddy I need one. My fiancée is really skinny so I want to weigh less than him for at least one point in our relationship!
