crash dieting is just stupid...look how many sparkers there are who have tried quick fixes and who are still huge...that just proves they dont work
ok so you might lose weight quickly but you will put it all back on again and probably feel crap on the day because you havent been getting enough nutrition
you have loads of time to lose weight in a healthy way and keep it off

How much do you want to lose? If you have a significant amount of weight to lose, crash dieting is a terrible idea. If it's just 5 lbs then sure crash doet the week before and it will be all good. There is nothing wrong with starting a healthy lifestyle now though because maybe you will lose by then and keep it off. If you crash diet it is all going to come right back. Also, crash dieting is going to make you really irritable and hungry so you might become a bridezilla! Just a thought...Good Luck.

Is it just your wedding you want to be slim for?? If you try to slim down now the healthy way, you will have a lovely glow about you on your day, rather then being exhausted and looking frail with a crash diet, yes crash diets do sometimes work, but can make people very ill, very quickly, would you want to risk that, that close to your big day?? As well as all the stress of the wedding, will you be able to have stressful meals too? But which ever way you choose, i wish you all the luck!

Crash dieting is never healthy. Although you lose a huge amount of weight, as soon as you start eating again, you blow up like a balloon. Instead of going on a diet, why don't you try a lifestyle change. Changing your eating habits and your exercise habits to benefit you and your years to come. Personally, I would never crash diet because it is not a quick fix. Nothing is.

I recently got engaged and I started today (Jan. 7th) my diet plan in order to get in shape for my wedding. My wedding isn't until summer 2009, I have heard that a crash diet would work better than starting now because I will end up getting boerd with my diet program. What do you think?
