I'm getting married Oct 4 and the plans are overwhelming right now but what I do is make a list. And as you do stuff you mark it off or write down where you found it. That really helps me to stay focused and not feel like everything is out of control. In my head I am thinking, I'm in control of this list and everything on it.
As far as beating yourself up about your weight, that is only going to make things worse. The best way to releive stress is to workout! Boost that metabolism, Boost that energy and Make thos endorphins girl!!!

I am getting married Oct 25th too. However I am doing the deed in Vegas where everything is basically taken care of besides travel plans. I am glad to have a long time to get in the shape I want to be in for the big day.

Just relax!! You have plenty of time! My wedding is the end of July and I only have my dress, no photographer, flowers or anything! Go to yoga and meditate the problems away!

As a wedding planner who works with brides of all shapes and sizes it is so important that you relax and enjoy this time leading up to your big day. I myself was overweight before my own wedding, tried everything to slim down and was still 80lbs above where I wanted to be for the big day. Believe me when I tell you that although you should continue to pursue better health, on your wedding day the last thing you want to be upset about is the size of your dress. It's also important to remember that the sizes of the dresses are WAY off the normal sizes. I was wearing an 18 and had to buy a size 22 dress. Don't let the numbers get you down and feel free to email if you ever need motivation or a pep talk! Congratulations and good luck.

i have set the date for my wedding its Oct 25 2008 and i have the hall but now i am feeling overwhelmed with the little things and the big things still left to do, on top of that i feel so down about my body right now and the way it looks, i am horrible at self control and not eating bad things or things i shouldnt have, then when i do eat it i get super depressed thinking about myself in a dress in a few months from now....i feel so upset with myself which doesnt help! plus i have too many people i am trying to make happy right now...it is wearing me out!!!
