Hi, I read your post on the brides and grooms to be. I am looking into a long-distance wedding also in Savannah. I've never been there but I found a good site that might be able to help you. http://www.weddingsbysavannahbeachinn.com/weddings.html I'm not engaged yet but I am really looking into a destination wedding. I'd prefer to go somewhere out of the country but since we both don't have passports or a great deal of money it will be state side. My bf is in PA and I'm in Wisconsin. I'm moving over to PA in June. Good luck with your planning! Let me know if that site helps at all :) Rachel

| Hi all..my fiance and i are going to Vegas for our October 08 wedding but we are gettingm arried at one of the resorts/casinos. What has helped us a tobn is getting a wedding planner there- lucky for us one comes along with the casino. If you contact a florist in the area where you will get married, often they have wedding planners on staff that can do alot of work for you, or at least give you great reccomendations of where to start.

| My finance and I planned some of the wedding together, and then he moved back home to start a new job. We are only about 5 hours apart, but it is tough! On top of the wedding planning, I am starting to look for a new job for our new location and a new house, and I am also having to part from my family in my hometown. There are a lot of changes, and it is tough not having him here all the time. We will make it though. We only have until the end of May!! Good luck to all doing the distance thing. I know it is tough.

| Neither of us have friends or family in Savannah, but we're taking a weekend trip up there this weekend to get things worked out. Hopefully I can get ceremony place, flowers, and cake all sewn up. I'll keep you posted!

| Try this for long distance planning. I live in SC and am getting married in NY. My fiance lives there and has a ton of family, so it's easier for my small family to go up there. So, he's being so great and is taking care of a lot of things for me. His mom is helping too. The wedding is in March. Everything is pretty much ready, except a couple of small things.

| I too am planning a wedding long distance. It is a 6 hour drive from where I live now. DO you know anyone that lives around there? Like my fiance's parents live in teh town we are getting married in and so they are able to help me a bit. Or have you thought about a wedding planner? Are you getting married in a church...if so you can search the internet for churches around that area. Let me know if you need any support...I know what you are going through.

| So, I live in Orlando, FL, but am planning my wedding in Savannah, GA. I know I'm doing things in the wrong order, but I have the reception and photographer, but not the place for the ceremony. Anyone know of a nice chapel in Savannah, GA kind of near the river? I'm coming up empty on my search so far and figure this is as good a place as any to look for help. If anyone is planning their wedding in Orlando, FL or southeastern Wisconsin and needs help, I know about both places!
