Thanks so much. I think you have the right idea with this wedding, I wish I had 'dragged' ours out for longer. I really did rush everything as I was so focused on everyone else but myself. Had lots of people say they enjoyed themselves, not that anyone would say otherwise, I just think I would have enjoyed it more if I could have relaxed and not worried so much. Good luck with this one. XX

I've been married before and I remember the post wedding blues. You spend so long getting ready and then it flies by and you realize that even though it was special, it is now over. So I hear you.

This is part of the reason why I am doing things differently this time. We are trying to keep everything as low key as possible, and we are planning a number of activities for the days before so that we can spend as much time as possible with the people who are coming from out of town.

So unfortunately, I can't really offer advice to you, Angie, but to the other brides out there... take some time to really enjoy yourself.

Hi all. Just wanted to warn you all about the after wedding blues. I have really come back down to earth with a bump. After spending the last 10 months preparing and arranging everything for our big day I just cant believe it over. Obviously Im pleased to be married, but as we have been together for over 7 years, have a house and 2 kids, it hardly feels like we are having a 'honeymoon' period. Another warning, the day itself flies past. I can hardly remember it. I was so nervous before the ceremony I really rushed dressing and the before photos, i just wanted to get it over with, and after the ceremony I was so busy checking on guests that I didnt get a second to appriciate the day myself. Its pants. So depressed right now. Even looking at the photos isnt perking me up. Sorry to sound ungrateful. We had a lovely day, everyone enjoyed themselves, the kids were amazing. Couple of cr@p things. My 'Dad' and the bouquets met me at the ceremony rather than were we got ready, so no photos of them before cermony, also my bloody veil fell out before the ceremony too and i spent the whole thing fiddling with it trying to make sure it didnt fall out, then got so fed up with it I took it out before the professional photos were taken. At the time none of this stuff mattered as I was nervous and rushing, but now I am pee'd off about them all. Hope my little moan helps someone. Thanks for reading. XXX
