| I worked for American Airlines Vacations for 5 plus years and planned several weddings. You don't want to get married in Oahu as it is too commercialized and crowded. I recommend Kuai or Maui. They are both beautiful! You can get married on the beach or somewhere gorgeous relatively cheap.

| BTW, now that I have seen all the other islands I would have chosen the Big Island instead of Oahu. Oahu is a giant city on a small island and isn't as romantic as the others.

| I got married on Oahu at Diamond Head beach park in 2001(divorced now). It was a gorgeous ceremony and we did the entire wedding itself for $500. The honeymoon protion was about $1500. You have to go there a few days early to get your marriage license at their county offices so be sure to make sure what their hours are and don't forget to check their list of requirements for documents they need to give you the paperwork. It only takes about an hour. I found my wedding planner online and we basically did the whole thing through email and then when we got there she took us to choose a location. It was very casual and it turned out beautiful. The wedding planner took care of the flowers and the photog and the limo and the minister and since there was only 4 of us there it was perfect. Even though I married the wrong guy and wasted a beautiful experience, I would do it again if it wasn't already jinxed for me. Good Luck.

| My fiance and I were planning to go to the court house here for a simple wedding and then go to Hawaii for our honeymoon, now we are thinking we should just combine the two and just get married in Hawaii. Anyone been married in Hawaii or planning a wedding in Hawaii?
