Oh, and if your hubby needs help, my husband got his guys a gift card to Best Buy. They all loved the gift and used it on something they wanted. We bought plastic top hats at a party outlet and wrapped the gift cards inside. The guys kept the hats and took a silly picture with them at the wedding. :)

One of the best gifts I have received was a silver heart-shaped compact mirror with my name engraved on the top. It was from Red Envelope. I keep it in my purse and use it often.

Another good gift is something that you are an advocate of. My friend is very into breast cancer awareness and she bought us a beautiful pink Lenox breast cancer vase. The money went to help breast cancer, something we knew had meaning for her, and we got a very nice gift.
Hope these help!

my bridesmaids are an ecclectic bunch, from total femme to my maid of honor who is wearing tux. . . makeup bag a no go for her. I think I'm going to stick with the $13 monogrammed vase with flowers waiting for them in their hotel rooms, a bottle of wine from a local winery with a custom label on it thanking them for being my bridesmaids, and maybe a candle from a local candle maker person. My goal is around $50, too. I think I can do it, depending on the winery thing, that could get pricier than I want. But that's the joy of a local winery, I get to go and taste all the wines while I haggle for a deal!

I am also in the same situation as you are, I have no idea what to get my girls...I have budgeted $50 for each attendent but I don't want to get them jewelery or picture frames as EVERYONE does this. I have thought of getting a silver compact with thier name on it and a really nice make-up bag. I have also thought of a travel toiletry bag (the ones that have a bunch of compartments and that you have to fold up). I have been looking on the internet too, just put in attendent gifts into google and you will get lots of hits.

If anyone has any other suggestions on gifts please let me know!

Yes, I did monogrammed Silk Dupioni Makeup bags, and am putting their jewelry and necklaces inside. I got the silk dupioni bags at www.beau-coup.com (love that site!)

I bought the girls jewlery for my wedding and I made them all scrapbooks...they weren't cheap though, they cost a lot...

A cute monogrammed tote bag would be nice...I have seen them for like $20 on some wedding websites.

That would be a great idea, I had never thought of that!

That's a good idea, I've thought about getting them a necklace they could wear with the dresses. . .I just can't find anything I like.

I also thought of these monogrammed flower vases. They're only $12 and I could set them up in their hotel rooms with flowers and a Thank You note. All of my maids are staying in the hotel with us. . .

You are in the same situation as me, I am just going to buy mine a necklace or braclet that they can wear in the wedding and then be able to keep it to wear when the want.

Hi everyone, what are you doing as bridal party gifts? I need to keep expenses down, and I have 6 girls to buy presents for. Any suggestions?
