| I would just order the size you are now and have it taken in- you definitely don't want a dress that's too small!

| I think it's also better to err on the side of bigger than smaller, not that you're not going to lose the weight, but it's a lot easier to take a dress in than let it out. Yes, the point about BM dresses being smaller is a good one, My BM who is a 12 ordered a 16 BM dress.

| Dont forget that wedding and bridesmaid dresses run a lot smaller than regular clothes. My bridesmaids are my daughter and soon to be step daughter - they regualarly wear a 7 and 3 - we had to order a 10 and a 6 to fit them. Be sure to find out your measurements and what size you would be now.

First figure out how much weight you have been losing each month. If you've been averaging less than 5lbs/month I would go one size smaller. Even if you go down more than one size in that time, you won't have to do too much altering to it. This also allows for those months when you don't lose as much. If you've been losing 5-10lbs/month I'd go down maybe 2 sizes - if you're SURE you will continue to lose at that rate between now and November.
It's been my experience that bridesmaid dresses are more true to size than wedding gowns. All of my bride's maids tried theirs on before ordering and they were all pretty close to their normal sizes.

| Ok, I was just asked to be a bride's maid in my friend's wedding. The wedding is in November. She emailed me the link to the dress online today and it is an online only purchase. The problem is I don't know what size to order since I am planning on loosing more weight. She doesn't want the dress to sell out, so wants us to order it soon. What do you suggest?? Right now, I am about a 12, but an still loosing.
