Angie+3: You're welcome! I'm losing my chest too but, I figure, maybe they'll be perkier when this is all said and done.
JKANGAS & Suzmor: Looks like we're all freaking out about the same areas. Sucks, doesn't it? I've noticed that the exercises I've been doing are starting to help the jiggle. Every day I do the following: 20 push-ups, 20 bicep curls (I use 8lb weights), and 20 tricep extensions (with 2 8lb weights). They don't jiggle so much now and I'm actually starting to get a defined bicep muscle. I hope that helps. Good luck!!

Freaking out alittle about my first fitting on Friday! I have a strapless corset dress and am planning on wearing a "slimming" strapless slip. If only I could get rid of the tricep flab. . . oh yeah, and the hips and butt. . . my new short term goal is 10-15 more pounds.
The gym is my new best friend, too. If only it would call me and wake me up in the morning to make sure I get out of bed. . . and if only my car had autopilot so it would drive me to the gym after work with out letting me drive right on by. . .

| I had my first fitting this past Sunday. It was so much fun and I loved trying on my dress again. Unfortunately I realized just how bad my arms and back are so now I'm determined to have a better second fitting. The gym is going to become my best friend!!

Way to go, Angie+3! Don't feel bad about losing your boobs. The only parts of my dress that were taken in last week were the hem (I'm really short) and...... my bust. DAMN! Oh well. LOL!

| Just wanted to let you know, those 18 days flew past. Had the fitting yesterday. Dress does up fine, although I would prefer it a little looser as I would like to be able to eat and drink on my big day. Been working out so much and my back fat has all but gone, yippee, I LOVE THE GYM! Got next fitting in 2 weeks to check the hem has been done correctly then another fitting 3 weeks after that to shrink the bust. Why do you always lose off the bust most. I love my boobs and they are slowly disappearing.

Thanks, Suz! Reading those words really made me sit up a little taller and my confidence/motivation soar a little higher. THANK YOU! I really needed that!
And, as for you, good luck on the fitting! Just take a deep breath and repeat those words you gave us to yourself. YOU CAN DO THIS! We can ALL do this! GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

I have my first fitting next friday! I had the dress on again when I picked out the veil and it felt tighter than when I bought, but I've been doing well with the calorie thing and working hard this week.
Congrats to Krysti, and Scooby, don't worry about the arms. . . just keep workin on it and each week will be better than the last and you'll be beautifull and feel even more beautiful because you will know how hard you worked and what you accomplished!

| I had my first dress fitting two days ago. The good news is: my slip zipped up all the way (last time I put it on I wasn't able to do that). The bad news is: my back and arms are still gross. They aren't AS bad but they're still bad. I'm hoping my next dress fitting on 9/12 will be better. Congratulations, KRYSTI21! You go, girl!

| I tried my dress on this past weekend for my sister who lives out of town. It fits me so perfectly, and it is lace up so when I go for my first actual fitting next week I probably wont' have to get any alterations done except for the hem and bussel...YAY!

| Chickadeecan, I feel your pain. I have fibromyalgia and get neck pain like that without even being in an accident. Just take things one day at a time. Do what you can and don't get angry at yourself if you can't do as much as you really want to. Sometimes forcing yourself can cause more pain and lengthen the healing time. You'll be fine. Just focus on your nutrition intake. There are many days I can't exercise but the pounds are still falling off because I keep my calories/fat/carbs intake low. Good luck!! My thoughts are with you and your family.

| Oh my god chickadeecan, it sounds like you have really been through it. These things are all sent to test us. Try not to lose sight of the reason you are doing what you have to do. I keep reminding myself that as long as my H2B and our children are all there on the day nothing else matters (except maybe the registrar being there). Hope it all gets better for you. I will be thinking of you and your family for you. X

| My fingers are crossed for you. I think the back flab you spoke of must be a universal problem, as I too 'suffered' with it when I first brought my dress. Let me know how it goes. X

When I bought my dress it was just right - except for the back flab being pushed out and over the top and my arm flab (strapless dress). I haven't tried it on since. My first dress fitting is in 15 days. I've gone down about half a size. So that's a good sign. I'm just going to chug along and keep my fingers crossed.
Good luck to you!

| 18 days until 1st fitting. Trying really hard. Going to the gym loads, really enjoying it, in fact cant stop thinking about it on the days that I dont make it down there! Amazing. Struggling a little with the eating bit, quite healthy apart from the daily chocolate, got myself down to half a bar of dark chocolate a day, which is very good for me, just cant stop it. I brought a dress that was made already and was a size smaller than I was, originally couldnt do the zip up but I could do it up at my last try on, although still pulling too tight around my stomach, it is loose on my chest, damn, why does that always happen? How is everyone else doing?
